Joe Biden Officially Wins Democratic Nomination For Presidential Election

Joe Biden has officially won the Democratic Nomination for President.

CBS News is reporting that the 77-year-old politician has “secured more than 1,991 delegates”, which is enough to take the nomination, officially.

The numbers come from primary elections that were held this week all over the country.

Joe has been the last remaining politician in the Democratic party for the Presidential race, as Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, Amy Klobuchar, Mike Bloomberg, and Pete Buttigieg dropped out of the race earlier this year.

Just recently, Joe has opened up about how he’ll be choosing a running mate for the election, hinting before that Kamala was a front runner for that position.

If you missed it, earlier this week, Joe also held a press conference in Philadelphia, where he addressed the recent protests following the unjust murder of George Floyd and also talked about the country’s coronavirus response from leadership.
