Amy Winehouse: Large Quantity of Alcohol Consumed Before Death

Amy Winehouse‘s death has been ruled “death by misadventure,” or without the intention to do harm, from drinking too much.

The British singer, who died in July at the age of 27, consumed a “very large quantity of alcohol,” London coroner Suzanne Greenaway told the AP.

Amy‘s blood alcohol content was five times over the legal limit when she died; however, no illegal substances were found in Amy‘s system at the time of her death.

Our continued well wishes and thoughts go out to Amy‘s family and friends.
