Benedict Cumberbatch goes shirtless in a deleted shower scene from his film Star Trek Into Darkness that was revealed when J.J. Abrams made an appearance on Conan on Wednesday (May 22).

The scene was cut from the film but was revealed after J.J. was accused of sexism for showing Alice Eve in her lingerie during the movie, but not showing male skin.

“I’m not defending it, but then there’s a picture of Kirk (Chris Pine) who is not wearing all his clothes,” J.J. said, while showing a shirtless photo of Chris. Check out the photos below!

Benedict Cumberbatch laughs with his co-star Martin Freeman on the set of Sherlock while filming for season three on Tuesday (May 21) in London, England.

The 36-year-old Star Trek Into Darkness actor’s hit series will premiere in the Fall of this year on the BBC.

Benedict recently chatted with the LA Times about his catapult to fame.

“I’ve just driven past a phone booth, with my face, the poster they use of me for the film, it’s amazing,” Benedict said. “To be in the middle of New York, a city I’ve always loved, and going to the premiere and seeing myself on a side of a phone booth, I think you’d have to be made of stone not to feel something.”

Benedict Cumberbatch carries a shopping bag while heading into his hotel on Saturday afternoon (May 11) in New York City.

The day before, the 36-year-old actor was spotted leaving NBC Studios at Rockefeller Plaza after making an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Benedict told Jimmy about a game that he plays with his Sherlock co-star Martin Freeman during which they say the name of a public figure and have to do an impersonation of that person on the spot. Watch him do an impersonation of Bruce Lee in the video below!

Benedict Cumberbatch and Chris Pine suit up for the premiere of their highly anticipated upcoming flick Star Trek Into Darkness held at the Empire Leicester Square on Thursday (May 2) in London, England.

The 36-year-old villain of the film and Chris, 32, were joined at the event by co-stars Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg, and Karl Urban.

“Which way to do my hair was the hardest thing really – straight or curly, or long with bangs (fringe), or a sort of ponytail, or maybe no hair.” Benedict told The Telegraph about the hardest part of Star Trek Into Darkness.
