Benedict Cumberbatch sports a gray blazer as he heads to catch a flight out of LAX Airport on Friday (August 12) in Los Angeles.
The 40-year-old English actor recently spilled some details about his character, Dr. Stephen Strange, in his upcoming film Doctor Strange.
In the movie, Benedict plays a surgeon who gets his hands damaged in a car accident, granting him mysterious superpowers that he learns to harness with the help of a sorcerer.
“This man reaches the very bottom and then more,” Benedict told Entertainment Weekly. “You think, How much more can this guy take? He’s broken, he gets up again, he’s broken – and that’s really what makes him a superhero. A lot of people have asked me, ‘What makes him a superhero?’ That’s really the answer I should have given. It’s not the Cloak of Levitation. It’s not the Eye of Agamotto. It’s about his staying power. It’s a marathon and not a sprint. The guy endures so much.”
Catch Doctor Strange when it hits theaters on November 4!
