Billie Lourd was surrounded by family members and one of Carrie Fisher‘s Star Wars castmates while accepting her mom’s posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in her honor on Thursday (May 4) in Hollywood, Calif.

The 30-year-old actress had husband Austen Rydell and father Bryan Lourd at her side during the ceremony, which was also attended by Mark Hamill.

She wore a dress emblazoned with her mother in character as Princess Leia and posed for photos with statues of Star Wars characters R2-D2 and C-3PO.

The event is taking place just a day after the star highlighted the difficult relationship with mom’s siblings, who were not invited to the big day.

Billie Lourd is standing up for her mom Carrie Fisher against the upcoming unauthorized biography about the late actress.

The 27-year-old American Horror Story actress’ dad Bryan Lourd released a statement on behalf of his daughter disavowing writer Sheila Weller and her upcoming book, Carrie Fisher: Life on the Edge, saying that they had no knowledge of the book in advance.

“A person named Sheila Weller has taken it upon herself to sell and write an unauthorized biography based on my daughter’s mother, Carrie Fisher,” Bryan shared with People. “I do not know Ms. Weller. Billie does not know Ms. Weller. And, to my knowledge, Carrie did not know her. Ms. Weller sold this book on her own without our involvement.”

Bryan then went on to tell fans to read Carrie‘s own writings about her life instead.

“For all the fans and friends of Carrie, I just thought it necessary that you know this information before you decided to purchase this book or consider what is being said in the upcoming press interviews Weller will do while trying to sell it,” Bryan continued. “To be clear I haven’t read the book. The only books about Carrie Fisher worth reading are the ones Carrie wrote herself. She perfectly told us everything we needed to know.”

Carrie died after suffering a cardiac arrest back on December 27, 2016. Her mother, Debbie Reynolds, died the following day from a stroke.

The 26-year-old American Horror Story: Apocalypse actress and her loved ones stepped out for the event held at Bloomingdale’s on Thursday (March 21) in Century City, Calif.

They were joined by Dancing with the Stars‘ Nyle DiMarco.

Billie wore a black crop top with a printed skirt, a furry black jacket, an assortment of necklaces, and hoop earrings, completing her look with some sparkly eyeshadow.

The group enjoyed a meal together as they celebrated the launch of the shop.

The 25-year-old American Horror Story actress presented the Champion Award to Bruce at the event and her dad Bryan Lourd was also in the audience!

“Tonight, [GLSEN] is honoring Bruce because he’s the definition of a champion: an amazing father, husband, philanthropist, activist, and Madonna fan,” she said during her speech.

“@glsenofficial last was truly an honor. Thank you but more importantly I want to thank all the kids who shared their compelling stories with us. Incredible people doing incredible work against bullying. Thank you @praisethelourd & @mrjesscagle for the wonderful introductions last night!” Bruce wrote on his Instagram account the next day.

The actors walked in support of publicist Nanci Ryder as “Team Nanci” for the annual LA County Walk to Defeat ALS on Sunday (October 15) at Exposition Park in Los Angeles.

Other celebrity team members included Justine Bateman, Bryan Lourd, Bruce Bozzi, Don Diamont, Cindy Ambuehl, Kylie Rogers and Kate Linder, plus more walk participants including Mari Winsor, Lara Flynn Boyle and Elizabeth Berkley.

After being diagnosed with ALS in 2014, Nanci and her friends formed “Team Nanci.” Together, they raised over $100,000 for the cause at this year’s walk. All funds raised supported The ALS Association Golden West Chapter in care services, public policy and research.

Things are getting serious between Billie Lourd and her boyfriend Taylor Lautner!

The couple joined Billie‘s dad Bryan and his husband Bruce Bozzi for a tropical yachting vacation over the weekend.

Bruce took to his Instagram to share a fun photo of the group, where they’re all wearing face masks!

“The family that masks together lasts together! Hello 4/3/17 #fresh #relax @praisethelourd,” Bryan captioned the photo.

Although Billie and Taylor haven’t shared any photos together from the trip, Billie did take to her Instagram to share a photo of a beautiful sunset.
