Harry Morton‘s cause of death has been officially confirmed.

The Pink Taco founder and businessman, who died at the age of 38 at the end of 2019, died as the result of irregular heartbeat, the LA County Coroner confirmed via TMZ on Wednesday (February 26).

The autopsy revealed that Harry was suffering with a condition called cardiac arrhythmia, which is due to hardening of the arteries. There were also no drugs or alcohol found in his system following his sudden death.

His memorial service was held in early December, and was attended by celebrity friends including Demi Moore, Lori Loughlin and Stephen Dorff. Here’s what ex-girlfriend Lindsay Lohan said after his death.

Harry Morton‘s family is revealing how the 38-year-old Pink Taco founder died.

The L.A. County Coroner did an autopsy on Harry and learned that he died after suffering a heart attack due to several blockages in his arteries, TMZ reports.

The coroner also revealed that Harry was suffering from coronary artery disease and also had a “mildly enlarged heart.”

The family also had another doctor confirm that Harry had calcification in 3 of his main arteries, which caused a sudden cardiac arrest.

Over the weekend, it was announced that Harry was reportedly found dead at his home in Los Angeles.

Harry Morton‘s cause of death is still a mystery.

A coroner completed the autopsy on the businessman and Pink Taco founder on Monday (November 25), the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office told People.

Harry was reportedly found dead by a family member at age 38 at his home on Saturday in Los Angeles, and no foul play was suspected.

Harry‘s cause of death has officially been deferred pending additional investigation, the outlet reports.

Lindsay Lohan is mourning the death of her ex-boyfriend Harry Morton.

The 33-year-old actress took to Instagram on Sunday (November 24) to mourn the death of the 38-year-old Pink Taco founder.

“Best friends. Best life,” Lindsay captioned a photo of she and Harry together at the Bobby premiere at the Venice Film Festival in 2006.

Lindsay and Harry dated for several months back in 2006.

Lindsay‘s mom Dina Lohan then commented on the photo, writing, “🙏🏻So sorry my lil princess 🙏🏻he’s always with you , watching over you baby ❤️”

The police department is still investigating Harry‘s death. He was reportedly found by a family member and pronounced dead by paramedics on the scene. No foul play is suspected.

The businessman, known for founding Pink Taco in Los Angeles, was found unresponsive at his home in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon (November 23), the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department confirmed on Sunday (November 24).

The police department is still investigating his death. He was reportedly found by a family member and pronounced dead by paramedics on the scene. No foul play is suspected.

“We are saddened by the passing of Harry Morton, the founder and former owner of Pink Taco. Harry was a visionary and restaurateur ahead of his time, and his contributions, both professionally to our brand and personally to those he worked with, were numerous. Our thoughts and condolences are with his family and friends during this difficult time,” Pink Taco said in a statement.

He was the son of Hard Rock Cafe co-founder restaurateur Peter Morton and the grandson of Morton’s Steakhouse founder Arnie Morton.

More recently, he made headlines for purchasing the Elvis Presley estate in Beverly Hills for $25.5 million.

He previously dated Lindsay Lohan, and was linked to stars like Demi Moore, Britney Spears and Jennifer Aniston.

Lindsay‘s mother posted a tribute to Harry on Instagram.

Britney Spears was spotted stepping out for a date with restaurant mogul Harry Morton on Friday night (September 11) in Studio City, Calif.

The 33-year-old entertainer is seen sitting at the dinner table at Iroha Sushi with Harry in photos obtained by TMZ. The outlet reported that this was their first date!

For those that don’t know, Harry is the grandson of Morton Steakhouse founder Arnie Morton and he once dated Lindsay Lohan back in 2006. You can see photos of him throughout the years in the gallery below.
