It’s over for Kat Von D and Jesse James – yet again.

“I am not in a relationship. (And I apologize for all the “back and forth” if it’s caused any confusion),” the 29-year-old tattoo artist wrote on her Facebook page.

A source also confirmed the split to People.

Kat and Jesse, 42, got re-engaged in August after splitting earlier in the summer.

Kat also set the record straight about moving to Texas, where Jesse lives.

“I am not opening up another tattoo shop. And I am not leaving my shop here in Los Angeles, High Voltage Tattoo,” she shared.

Kat Von D and Jesse James‘ engagement is back on!

“Sometimes you are only given one chance in life,” Jesse, 42, told People. “It was up to me to open my eyes and see it. That girl is my chance. I will never stop fighting and striving to hold on to her. Showing her how special she is, and how much I love her.”

The on-again couple, who initially split in late July, also each posted pics of them together on their Twitter accounts.

Jesse wrote “para siempre” – Spanish for “forever” – with a photo of him kissing Kat, 29.

The engagement news comes on the same day that TLC announced it was ending Kat‘s show LA Ink.

Kat responded, telling People, “In an effort to capitalize on my recent breakup, the network has decided to focus their energy on re-editing events that didn’t happen while filming. I have no regrets and am very proud of the original footage. In my opinion, any attempt to compromise the honesty of that would be an insult to my fans and viewers.”

Jesse James and Kat Von D have ended their engagement and relationship.

“I am no longer w Jesse, and out of respect for him, his family and myself, thats all the info I’d like to share. Thanks for respecting that,” Kat, 29, tweeted.

Jesse, 42, told People, “I’m so sad because I really love her. The distance between us was just too much.”

The two got engaged in January and were planning to tie the the knot this summer.

Jesse was previously married to Sandra Bullock, who turns 47 today. Their divorce was finalized in June 2010.

Jesse James and Kat Von D are engaged!

The motorcycling man, 41, and tattoo artist, 28, began dating over the summer and announced their engagement today.

“You know sometimes the public and press gets it wrong. This is one of those times. 2010 was actually the best year of my life because I fell in love with my best friend. An amazing woman who stood behind me when the world turned their backs,” Jesse told People. “I have never met anyone so kind and loving and committed to making the world a better place every day. My love for her is beyond description. So honored that she said ‘yes.’ Growing old with her is going to be a f—-n’ blast!”

Jesse and Sandra Bullock split last year; their divorce was finalized in June.

“There is no one else for me. He’s the one,” Kat told People.
