Kathy Griffin Reveals What She Did on New Year's Eve Instead of Hosting on CNN

Kathy Griffin is on the cover of THR‘s latest issue.

Here’s what the comedian had to share with the mag:

On what she did on New Year’s Eve, instead of hosting CNN’s show with Anderson Cooper: “With my handsome boyfriend, making love.”

On the seriousness of her “crime” (aka her controversial “beheaded Trump” photoshoot): “I didn’t commit a crime. I didn’t rape anybody. I didn’t assault anybody. I didn’t get a DUI. I mean, my God, there are celebrities that fucking kill people.”

On the advice she received from crisis experts: “I was hearing, ‘Go away for five years. I was like, ‘I’ll tell you what: You go away for five years.’ ”

On the night the image was released, Griffin was set to host a dinner party for Melanie Griffith, Rita Wilson and Kris Jenner: “I wondered, ‘Should I cancel the dinner?’ And then I thought, ‘No, these are three women who could probably give me good advice.’ ” The dinner party proceeded as planned. “We sat at the table and talked about it,” recalls Griffin. “We hashed out options, and they were trying to make me feel good – getting the laughs going because I was so freaked out.”

Kathy Griffin Says She's 'Not Welcome' to Women's March 2018

Kathy Griffin is explaining why she’s skipping out on this year’s 2018 Women’s March.

The 57-year-old comedian took to Twitter on Saturday (January 20) to say that she is “not welcome” to attend second annual march.

“So, yeah, after all these months, I’m still not welcome at #WomensMarch2018 etc. (For now). But I support you!!!” Kathy tweeted.

Kathy didn’t go into detail as to why she isn’t the attending, but did she a black and white infamous photo holding a mask of Donald Trump‘s bloodied head – implying that photo might have something to do with the situation.

Kathy Griffin Sends Fans a New Year's Eve Message

Kathy Griffin was fired from CNN’s New Year’s Eve show so she wasn’t able to appear alongside Anderson Cooper tonight in Times Square, but she still made sure to send a message to fans.

“Thank you for all the kind tweets. Happy New Year! KG,” the comedian wrote on Twitter.

Kathy also shared a video of her and mom Maggie playing with her two dogs.

“Please enjoy a personal message from Maggie, puppies and I. I sincerely want to thank all of you who have stuck by me with support, especially since May 30th. You guys have kept me going. I want you to have a better, if not great year ahead,” she tweeted.

Kathy was fired after she posed for a photo in which she held a bloody replica of Donald Trump‘s head.

Where is Kathy Griffin? CNN's New Year's Eve Now Co-Hosted By Andy Cohen

Kathy Griffin was the longtime co-host of CNN’s New Year’s Eve special with Anderson Cooper, but she was let go from the show back in May of 2017.

Earlier in the year, Kathy took part in a photo shoot where she beheaded a figure with the likeness of Donald Trump. CNN promptly let Kathy go after the extreme backlash.

Bravo’s Andy Cohen was announced as Kathy‘s replacement back in October, and he will be joining Anderson tonight.

Anderson and Andy will be hosting live on CNN beginning at 8 p.m. ET in New York City’s Times Square.

Kathy Griffin Is All Smiles at Her Comedy Show in Perth After Posting Video Rant

Kathy Griffin appears to be in great spirits while heading into her latest show!

The comedian was spotted arriving alongside her boyfriend Randy Bick at the Astor Theatre on Tuesday (October 31) in Perth, Australia.

Kathy is in Australia for her Laugh Your Head Off tour, and recently made headlines after posting a 17-minute video called “A Hell of a Story,” in which she tore into Andy Cohen and Harvey Levin and accused them of living “to take women down.”

The video was prompted after Andy pretended not to know Kathy, her boss of a decade, in a clip filmed by paparazzi at the airport.

Kathy wore the same outfit as she was wearing in her video, which has racked up nearly a million views.

Andy Cohen Explains Why He Said He Didn't Know Kathy Griffin

Andy Cohen is explaining why he recently pretended not to know Kathy Griffin.

The 49-year-old Watch What Happens Live host jokingly told paparazzi that he “didn’t know” his former Bravo co-worked Kathy when being questioned about replacing her on CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live.

Kathy responded with a scathing 17-minute long video slamming Andy and he’s now speaking out about why it all went down.

“All I have to say about the mishegas of this weekend, and I only have one thing to say about this bag of bulls**t,” Andy began on WWHL.

He said that in order to “avoid getting involved” with the paparazzo, he decided to “quote the great Mariah Carey, which is funny in my mind. And stupid! Something that is so innocuous and dumb, so it’s the classic ‘I don’t know her.’”

Andy added, “Well, here is the deal. Usually with TMZ, you’re walking and you say your thing and you get in your car. Well, my driver parked on the second level of the parking lot. So we’re standing there all that time waiting for the elevator, and that’s why it kept going on and on. And I didn’t really know how to pivot in the conversation. Like, ‘What, what, I don’t know!’ So I failed my Mariah impression.”

Andy continued by saying he had no idea his comments were going to blow up and promised to explain the entire situation on Radio Andy when he felt the time was right.
