Michael Douglas holds hands with his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones while hitting the red carpet at AARP’s 2016 Movie For GrownUps Awards held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel on Monday (February 8) in Los Angeles.
The happy couple were joined by Mark Ruffalo, Elizabeth Banks, Bryan Cranston and his wife Robin Dearden, Bette Midler, Laura Dern, Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Ridley Scott, Kathy Griffin, Wendie Malick, Morgan Freeman and his wife Lori McCreary, Phylicia Rashad, and June Squibb at the event celebrating 2015′s standout filmmakers, actors, actresses and movies with unique relevance for the 50-plus audience.
Highlights from the evening included a touching tribute to Career Achievement honoree Michael, 71, whose award was presented by Bette, 70. Jane presented the Best Actress statue to her Grace and Frankie co-star Lily for Grandma, and Lou Gossett Jr. presented Morgan, 78, with the Best Grownup Love Story honor for his role in 5 Flights Up.
