Little Big Town lights up the stage with a super fun opening number at the 2018 CMT Music Awards held at Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday (June 6) in Nashville, Tenn!

Band mates – Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Jimi Westbrook, and Phillip Sweet – performed their hot, new song “Summer Fever” as they kicked off the awards show.

The members of Little Big Town were the hosts for the event honoring some of the biggest names in country music.

How great was Little Big Town‘s performance of “Better Man” at the 2018 Grammys?

The country group got on stage and performed their hot number one hit at the show, held at Madison Square Garden on Sunday (January 28) in New York City.

Little Big Town consists of Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Jimi Westbrook, and Phillip Sweet. Watch a snippet from their performance below!

The group is nominated for two awards tonight, one of which they’ve already won, and they are also set to perform during the show.

LBT won the award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Better Man” during the pre-show and they are also nominated for Best Country Album, which will be announced during the main show.

“Better Man,” which was written by Taylor Swift, was nominated for Best Country Song, but lost to Chris Stapleton‘s “Broken Halos.”

Keith Urban and Jared Leto stepped out to honor Fleetwood Mac during 2018 Grammys Weekend!

The musicians hit the red carpet at the 2018 MusiCares Person of the Year event on Friday night (January 26) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

They were joined at the event by honorees Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie and John McVie.

Other attendees included OneRepublic, Little Big Town, Juanes, Portugal. The Man and Imagine Dragons.

Later in the evening, Keith, Imagine Dragons and Juanes took to the stage for a performance.

Sir Elton John is being celebrated by some of music’s biggest stars!

The music legend will be honored with a special called Elton John: I’m Still Standing – A Grammy Salute taping on January 30, 2018 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, according to Billboard.

The special will include tributes by several performers, including Miley Cyrus, Miranda Lambert, John Legend, Little Big Town, Chris Martin, Maren Morris, Sam Smith, Kesha and Keith Urban.

“Sir Elton John is an international music legend who has captivated audiences across generations for more than five decades. His creativity, dynamic presence, and melodic virtuosity have positioned him as a cultural icon, and the Recording Academy is pleased to honor his immeasurable contributions to the music community,” says President/CEO of the Recording Academy, Neil Portnow.

Elton will perform at his tribute as well, and he’s also in talks to perform at the 2018 Grammys.

This time Blake Shelton, Jana Kramer, and tons of other stars read some very hateful tweets about them – but took it all in good humor!

The Zac Brown Band, Cassadee Pope, Luke Combs, Randy Houser, Old Dominion, Trace Adkins, Darius Rucker, Dan + Shay, Chris Young, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum, Chris Stapleton, Jake Owen, Little Big Town, and Justin Moore also took part in the latest edition of Mean Tweets.

Taylor Swift is a winner at the 2017 CMA Awards!

The 27-year-old singer was not present at the event, she picked up the award for Song of the Year for writing “Better Man,” recorded by Little Big Town.

The country music group accepted the award on stage at the event. Taylor‘s longtime BFF Karlie Kloss presented the award.

Taylor beat out Keith Urban‘s song “Blue Ain’t Your Color,” Sam Hunt‘s song “Body Like a Back Road,” Thomas Rhett‘s song “Dirt on My Boots,” and Miranda Lambert‘s song “Tin Man.”

The last time Taylor attended an awards show was last year’s CMAs!
