Jennifer Hudson goes for a romantic walk with Marlon Wayans while filming a scene for their upcoming movie Respect on Tuesday (November 5) in the Harlem neighborhood of New York City.

The Oscar-winning actress is playing the late, legendary singer Aretha Franklin in the film while Marlon is playing her first husband Ted White.

Franklin and White, who was also her manager, got married in 1961 when she was only 19 years old. They separated after seven years of marriage and there were reports of domestic abuse during their time together.

Respect will be released on August 14, 2020.

The 38-year-old singer and actress was seen filming scenes for the upcoming biopic Respect on location in Manhattan’s Harlem neighborhood on Saturday (November 2) in New York City.

Jennifer was seen filming with co-star Marlon Wayans, who will play her on-screen husband, Ted White.

The scene reportedly takes place in 1966, when Marlon is seen talking and collecting money from prostitutes while Jennifer looks on from a car. Later on, they share a passionate kiss.

The movie is set to hit theaters in August of 2020, and is being directed by Liesl Tommy.

Tiffany Haddish is gorgeous in a gown while hitting the red carpet at the 2019 Mark Twain Prize for American Humor held at The Kennedy Center on Sunday (October 27) in Washington, DC.

The 39-year-old actress was joined at the event by John Legend, SNL‘s Colin Jost and Michael Che, Chance the Rapper, Common, Aziz Ansari, Sarah Silverman, Chris Tucker, Morgan Freeman, Nancy Pelosi, Marlon Wayans, Kenan Thompson, Michelle Wolf, Jon Stewart and the man of the night himself, Dave Chappelle.

The award is considered the highest accolade in comedy and recognizes individuals who have had an impact on American society in the vein of 19th-century novelist and essayist Samuel Clemens, or pseudonym, Mark Twain.

“I love my art form because I understand every practitioner of it, whether I agree with them or not I know where they’re coming from. They want to be heard, they got something to say, there’s something they notice. They just want to be understood,” Dave said while accepting the award (via CNN). “I love this genre, it saved my life.”

FYI: Tiffany is wearing a Christian Siriano dress. Sarah is wearing a Miu Miu dress. Common is wearing a Sandro blazer and trousers.

On his comedy: “If I’m making a Trump joke, I need the Trump supporters to laugh the loudest.”

On his themes: “I had certain themes I wanted to speak on…as comedians, we have the freedom to explore. My special was intended to make people think, to make people feel, to make people see things from a different perspective and to unite people through laughter. We may not always agree, but if I get you to laugh at least, you’ll understand what I’m saying.”

On bombing: “My job is to go into these dark tunnels that everybody’s scared to go in and get these jokes. Bombing means I have room to grow. I’m growing. Allow me to use the stage for my progression in comedy. If jokes don’t work, that’s alright, not everything you think is funny or great. It’s part of the process.”

Terry Crews just confirmed some news about the White Chicks sequel!

The 50-year-old actor, who played a professional basketball star in the flick, recently explained that stars Shawn and Marlon Wayans want to move forward with a second film.

“I actually got with Shawn and he was like, ‘Man, we’re doing it. We’re getting it going.’ Fifteen years ago you have to understand. As of this month, 15 years,” Terry explained on Watch What Happens Live.

He continued, “I’m staying in shape just for that movie. I’ve been working out for 15 years so we can do White Chicks 2 y’all! Please! Please!”

The original 2004 film follows the duo as disgraced FBI agents who go undercover as white women in order to solve kidnappings.

Jason Sudeikis and Sam Richardson share a laugh together while making their way into the Staples Center on Sunday afternoon (March 11) in Los Angeles.

The 42-year-old actor and the 34-year-old Veep star were in attendance to sit court side at the Los Angeles Lakers game.

Brie Larson made an appearance on last night’s (August 9) episode of The Tonight Show, and participated in a super fun round of Jimmy Fallon‘s Virtual Reality Pictionary!

The 27-year-old Oscar-winning actress teamed up with the 42-year-old host to face off against other special guest Marlon Wayans and The Roots‘ Tariq Trotter in the virtual reality version of Pictionary.

Brie also promoted her latest film The Glass Castle, and shared a clip from a sketch she starred in for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno when she was just eight years old.

That same evening, Brie joined her co-stars Naomi Watts and Max Greenfield at their The Glass Castle premiere.
