Michelle Dockery Goes Glam for 'Downton Abbey' Screening at Rome Film Festival

Michelle Dockery stuns on the red carpet at the screening Downton Abbey on Saturday night (October 19) in Rome, Italy.

The 37-year-old actress looked so pretty in a floral-print gown as she attended the screening held during the 2019 Rome Film Festival.

Joining Michelle on the red carpet were her co-stars Jim Carter and Imelda Staunton along with the movie’s director Michael Engler.

You can catch Michelle in the upcoming movie The Gentleman with Matthew McConaughey and Henry Golding.

Downton Abbey is out in theaters in the United States now!

Michelle Dockery & Max Greenfield Play Hilarious UK or US Guessing Game with James Corden!

Michelle Dockery and Max Greenfield put their minds to the test during a hilarious round of U.K or U.S on last night’s (September 19) episode of The Late Late Show!

Host James Corden asks Britain native Michelle and American native Max to take part in the game in which 5 strangers are brought out in a lineup, and they must guess whether each person is from the U.S or U.K.

Each of the contestants were given the opportunity to talk in both accents – Watch the hilarious results!

Later in the show, Michelle and Max Greenfield reveal what kind of music they would play at parties if they were DJing.

Michelle Dockery Plays 'How Dare You!' Insult Game with Jimmy Fallon on 'Tonight Show'!

Michelle Dockery delivered a slew of high-brow insults during a hilarious game of How Dare You! with Jimmy Fallon on last night’s (September 17) episode of The Tonight Show!

The 37-year-old actress and host Jimmy took turns complaining about Oreo Thins, air mattresses, airline passengers, how beautiful Jennifer Lopez looks in the film Hustlers and bees in the most proper way possible.

Each insult was ended by Michelle or Fallon slapping the air with a white glove while proclaiming, “How dare you!”

Later, Michelle Dockery told Fallon some of the celebrities she has met who are fans of Downton Abbey, including Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones and Kate Middleton, and also shares what it was like to reunite with the cast three years after the series ended.

'Downton Abbey' Cast Gets Glam for New York Premiere

Michelle Dockery, Elizabeth McGovern, and Laura Carmichael hit the red carpet at the New York Premiere of Downton Abbey!

The co-stars stepped out for the event held at Alice Tully Hall on Monday (September 16) in New York City.

They were joined by their other castmates Allen Leech, Sophie McShera, Hugh Bonneville, Jim Carter, Penelope Wilton, Michael Fox, and Harry Hadden-Paton.

Also there to show their support were businesswoman Martha Stewart, internet personality Hannah Hart, and more.

'Downton Abbey' Stars On Possibility of Second Movie: 'The Door Is Still Open'!

Michelle Dockery and Elizabeth McGovern make their way out of the Today show studios on Monday morning (September 16) in New York City.

The ladies joined their co-stars – Hugh Bonneville, Laura Carmichael, Allen Leech, Jim Carter and Kevin Doyle – join Studio 1A to discuss the release of their anticipated Downton Abbey movie, which hits theaters in the U.S. on September 20.

“We had more time, it’s always a bit of a luxury to have time,” Michelle Dockery said of adapting the series for a film. “Everything was slightly on a grander scale in every department. We were very aware of making it for the cinema.”

Hugh Bonneville
also talked about the possibility of a second film: “I think so. The door is still open at the end of the film,” he said. “I think if we all linked arms and jumped into the pond together, a sequel could happen.”

'Downton Abbey' Stars Discuss the Film's Secret Ending!

Downton Abbey‘s stars Michelle Dockery, Allen Leech, and Laura Carmichael are the cover stars of Town & Country’s October 2019 issue, on newsstands September 19.

Here’s what the stars had to share with the mag…

Allen, on Downton’s success in the U.S.: “If it had been on one of those major networks, or one you have to pay for, they would have pushed it too hard. Downton had to be discovered. It had to have that slow build.”

Michelle, on filming once Downton had a cult following: “When we came back to filming, it felt the same. It was like just going back to work, seeing your mates.”

Laura, on keeping the film’s ending a secret: “I wouldn’t know what to tell you.”
