Rodrigo Santoro has landed the role of Jesus Christ in the upcoming Ben-Hur movie remake, according to THR.

The 39-year-old Brazilian actor, who is best known for his roles in 300: Rise of an Empire, Love Actually, and Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, will be joining a star-studded cast in the film.

Ben-Hur follows a Jewish prince (Jack Huston) who is betrayed and sent into slavery by a Roman friend (Toby Kebbell), then regains his freedom and comes back for revenge.

Also starring in the movie are Morgan Freeman, Olivia Cooke, and Ayelet Zurer.

A bikini-clad Margot Robbie gets hot and steamy with the shirtless and very hunky Rodrigo Santoro in the new trailer for their movie Focus.

The movie stars Will Smith as Nicky, “a seasoned master of misdirection who becomes romantically involved with novice con artist Jess (Robbie). As he’s teaching her the tricks of the trade, she gets too close for comfort and he abruptly breaks it off. Three years later, the former flame�”now an accomplished femme fatale�”shows up in Buenos Aires in the middle of the high stakes racecar circuit. In the midst of Nicky’s latest, very dangerous scheme, she throws his plans for a loop… and the consummate con man off his game.”

Focus will be hitting theaters everywhere on February 27.

The 38-year-old actor’s movie 300: Rise of an Empire Blu-ray 3D/Blu-ray/DVD combo pack has been given a release date of June 5, and the studio is giving us a sneak peek at the special features!

The supplements will include features including 3 Days in Hell, Taking the Battle to the Sea, Real Leaders & Legends, Women Warriors, Becoming a Warrior, and many more.

Anne Hathaway wears a two-toned dress while attending the premiere of her new animated movie Rio 2 at the Fontainebleau Hotel on Friday (March 21) in Miami Beach, Fla.

The 31-year-old actress was joined at the premiere, as well as a Miami Walk of Fame event earlier in the day, by her co-stars Kristin Chenoweth, Jamie Foxx, George Lopez, Rodrigo Santoro, and Andy Garcia.

Jamie and Andy were both honored at the Walk of Fame ceremony that day. Rio 2 will hit theaters on April 11!

The pair was joined at the event by their co-stars Rodrigo Santoro and Gerald McRaney.

Focus follows a veteran grifter (Smith) who takes a young, attractive woman (Robbie) under his wing, but things get complicated when they become romantically involved. The film, which was originally set to star Ben Affleck and Kristen Stewart, does not yet have a release date.
