Here are the first pictures of The Hills newlyweds Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt soaking up the sun on their Mexican honeymoon. Another hilarious photo shoot to add to the books!

The happy couple, who eloped south of the border last week, was seen enjoying their first week of wedded bliss at their private villa in the exclusive One and Only Palmilia resort in Los Cabos. While there, Speidi was also seen filming scenes for an upcoming episode of The Hills.

Earlier today,Spencer called Ryan Seacrest’s radio show Thursday to respond to comments made by Heidi Montag’s mom.

Spencer fired back, saying, “I can’t wait to prove her wrong and be married for the rest of our lives. I’m sure she’s just hurt and reacting crazy because she wasn’t there.”

When asked if he’ll be spending the holidays with Heidi’s mom, Spencer said, “The Pratts - as in Heidi Pratt and Spencer Pratt - will probably have their own Christmas tree.”

Heidi Montag’s mom, Darlene Egelhoff, apparently doesn’t trust her daughter’s fiance, Spencer Pratt.

Her mom’s fury is unleashed in the latest issue of Us Weekly. Darlene fumes, “I don’t trust Spencer. He wants to possess her more than marry her. I’m very frightened for her.”

The 46-year-old mom adds, “He’s manipulative and seems to have power over Heidi. I would like to see a blood test from Mexico. It wouldn’t surprise me if he had her drugged. Spencer has tried to cut everyone out of her life. I’ve been honest with Heidi, and it’s caused our relationship to decline. I’m more devastated about that than the marriage, because I’m confident the marriage won’t work out.”

As for how long Darlene thinks their marriage will last, she said, “Six months. I think it’s the biggest mistake Heidi’s ever made.”

If she doesn’t trust Spencer, why did Darlene do a Mother’s Day photo shoot with Heidi and Spencer earlier this year?

Could something be fake about this couple? Could it be???

Newlyweds Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt return to Los Angeles on Monday after their honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Curiously enough, Heidi, 22, and Spencer, 25, were not wearing any wedding rings.

When asked how it feels to be married, Spencer said, “It feels amazing.”

The pair was also asked if they are planning to start a family. Mrs. Heidi Montag Pratt said, “We are going to start it.” Spencer added, “Its the next step.”

When asked what they did on their honeymoon, Spencer said, “Its all on video tape.” Just before getting into their waiting car, Spencer turned to the cameras and said, “I recommend getting married to anyone!”

The couple recently eloped in a secret ceremony in Mexico on Thursday, Nov. 20.

The Hills’ resident bad boy Spencer Pratt released a statement to The Associated Press, saying his marriage to Heidi Montag was 100% real.

“We had a beautiful ceremony here at One & Only Palmilla officiated by a minister and photographed by the hotel photographer,” he said. “We’ve never been happier. And, like other elopements that happen outside the country, we’ll take care of the legal details when we get home.”

Executive producer Liz Gateley also said footage from the wedding will be include in The Hills’ upcoming fifth season.

“MTV is currently filming Heidi and Spencer in Mexico, as we were expecting to capture them on vacation,” Gateley says. “Fans will be able to see the exclusive footage from the ceremony in an upcoming episode, and we will continue to follow the newlyweds’ relationship as it plays out in real life.”

“The minute we said our vows, I couldn’t stop crying,” Heidi told her blogger pal Perez Hilton of her ceremony at the One & Only Palmilla Resort, just outside Cabo San Lucas.

Spencer shared his gushing wedding vows: “Heidi, from the moment you came into my life, I knew my life would never be the same without you. You are the light in my life like the sun to the earth! Your loving warmth makes me want to be a better person. Being with you, I feel complete. I’m honored to even be able to call you my wife. You are the most amazing, loving and caring woman on this planet. I will love you forever and always.”

And Heidi’s vows: “From the moment I met you, I knew I wanted to marry you. I never knew love existed like this. You have opened my eyes and shown me a new world. Every moment with you is magical and amazing. You are truly my prince charming and dream guy. I love you with all my heart and soul and promise to be the best wife to you every day for the rest of our lives. I can’t wait to see what life brings us. I will always be by your side!”

Heidi, 22, and Spencer, 25, exclusively sold their wedding pictures to Us Weekly, out on newsstands later this week.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt walk the red carpet of the Autism Speaks 6th Annual Acts Of Love event held at the Geffen Playhouse in LA on Monday.

Autism Speaks is an advocacy group that seeks to accelerate and fund biomedical research into the causes, prevention, treatments and cure for autism spectrum disorders.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have been confirmed to play magazine cover versions of themselves in a guest spot on How I Met Your Mother, scheduled to air in January 2009.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are spotted out and about in Los Angeles as they pick up some coffee on Wednesday.

The Hills stars Heidi and Spencer may cameo in an upcoming episode of How I Met Your Mother, which would likely air sometime in December, reports Zap2It.

Their scenes would be with Marshall (Jason Segel), which they’re reportedly psyched about, being big Forgetting Sarah Marshall fans.

The Hills star Spencer Pratt is more old-fashioned than we thought! Before he asks for girlfriend Heidi Montag’s hand in marriage, he wants to get permission from Heidi’s father.

But that doesn’t seem like it’s going to be a problem!

“Spencer is a great, great kid,” Bill Montag, a rancher who currently lives in Steamboat Springs, Colo., tells Life & Style. “Every father wants his daughter to be with someone like Spencer, believe me.”

Bill, who’s divorced from Heidi’s mom, Darlene, first met Spencer during a heartbreaking time — at the March 2008 funeral of Heidi’s stepbrother Eric, who was killed in a household accident after returning from military service in Iraq. But even amid tragedy, it was clear to Bill how happy Spencer makes his daughter — and how much he enjoys doting on her. “He’s such a gentleman, opening doors for her and pulling out her chair,” Bill notes. “It meant a lot to me to see that — it showed me that he’s always thinking about her.”

“Her dad is one of my favorite people on the planet,” Spencer, 25, said of his future father-in-law last month. “We see eye to eye on a lot of things.”
