Thomas Rhett isn’t as youthful and as adventurous as he used to be!

Just days before his 30th birthday, the country singer took to Instagram to share a video of himself attempting to swing from a branch in his backyard.

In the video taken by wife Lauren Akins, a shirtless Thomas braces himself before taking off on the branch.

“This is definitely gonna fall,” Thomas says to his wife as daughter Ada, 2, cheers him on.

Then just as he suspected it, Thomas puts all his weight onto the branch, causing it to snap from the tree and he fell to the ground, causing his wife and daughter to start laughing.

“Try again!” Ada insisted, as his Lauren teased, “Welcome to 30, Daddy.”

If you missed it, Thomas and Lauren just welcomed their third daughter last month!

Thomas Rhett is a dad to three daughters!

The 29-year-old country singer and his wife, Lauren, have welcomed their third daughter, Lennon Love, to the world on Monday (February 10).

Lauren announced the news to his fans on Instagram this afternoon, writing, “Our early Valentine baby was born yesterday, February 10th and her sisters couldn’t be happier to finally get to kiss her little face 🥰.”

She added, “Lennon Love Akins 💕 9lbs 2oz of lovveeee with lots of dark hair and blue eyes 💙. We could not be more in love 💗💗💗”

Thomas also shared the news on his Instagram.

“It was such a joy to watch this little angel be brought into the world. My wife is just incredible through the entire birth🙌🏼 watching our kids meet Lennon for the first time was probably the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen in my whole life!”

Thomas and Lauren are parents to two other daughters, Ada James, 2, and Willa Gray, 4.

The Jonas Brothers look so handsome while walking the red carpet at the 2019 Kennedy Center Honors event on Sunday (December 8) at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

Some other music artists in attendance at the event included Carrie Underwood, John Legend, Thomas Rhett, Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, and Broadway stars Christopher Jackson and Laura Osnes (with husband Nathan Johnson).

The JoBros and John both performed during a tribute to Earth, Wind & Fire. Carrie and Trisha were both part of a tribute for Linda Ronstadt.

Thomas Rhett is hitting the stage!

The 29-year-old Center Point Road singer-songwriter performed at the 2019 American Music Awards on Sunday (November 24) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Thomas performed his hit single “Look What God Gave Her” at the ceremony. The song, featured on his No. 1 album, shot to No. 1 on the US Country Airplay Billboard chart when it was released earlier in the year.

Thomas Rhett walks the red carpet with his pregnant wife Lauren Akins while attending the 2019 American Music Awards on Sunday (November 24) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

The 29-year-old country singer and Lauren, 30, are expecting their third child. They are the parents of two daughters – Willa Gray and Ada James.

Thomas is set to perform during the big show this evening. He is also up for Favorite Male Artist – Country!

Last week, Thomas received a Grammy nomination for Best Country Album. He tweeted, “I’m completely shocked to be nominated for a Grammy!! This is nuts. Thanks to everyone who worked on Center Point Road with me! I’m so proud of this record and all the hard work that went into it. Thank you Lord!”

Miranda Lambert, Pink, and Sheryl Crow team up at the 2019 CMA Awards!

The singers, ages 36, 40, and 57, respectively, stepped out for the event held at the Music City Center on Wednesday (November 13) in Nashville, Tenn.

Miranda hit the red carpet with her husband Brendan Mcloughlin, and Pink with her husband Carey Hart and their kids Jameson and Willow.

Miranda is nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year, and she’ll perform “It All Comes Out in the Wash.” Pink and Sheryl will also perform.

They were joined by nominees Little Big Town and Thomas Rhett (with his family); performer Martina McBride; and presenters Kristin Chenoweth (with her musician boyfriend Josh Bryant), Jim Gaffigan, and Hannah Brown.

Also in attendance were singers RaeLynn, Colbie Caillat, Brandi Carlile, Backstreet Boys‘ AJ McLean, and more.

The 29-year-old country singer and husband Ryan Hurd coupled up for the 2019 BMI Country Awards on Tuesday (November 12) at the BMI in Nashville, Tenn.
