Tim Curry makes a rare appearance while attending the Actors Fund’s 2015 Tony Awards Viewing Party on Sunday night (June 7) in Los Angeles.
The 69-year-old actor suffered a debilitating stroke nearly three years ago that left him in a wheelchair. He received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the event that evening.
“I’m doing well and I’m looking forward to it,” Tim told Los Angeles Magazine about receiving the award. “I’ve done a few benefits for the Actors Fund and I think it’s a marvelous organization. I hope not to have to use it.”
Tim was also asked if his sense of humor is important to him. ” Vital. Absolutely vital. It’s not tough to maintain. It is just part of my DNA,” he said.
