Jurassic World has done the unthinkable – it just surpassed The Avengers to achieve the biggest opening weekend of all time!

The film’s Friday-Sunday numbers have been adjusted up to $209 million, besting the Marvel film’s $207.4 million from 2012.

Going into the weekend, it was estimated that the movie, starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, would hit $125 million for the weekend, which was already a massive amount of money.

Not only has the film achieved the biggest opening weekend of all time at the domestic box office, it also beat the global record with an estimated $511.8 million. That number is surely to be adjusted up as well!

Nick Robinson and his on-screen little brother Ty Simpkins suit up for the premiere of their new movie Jurassic World held at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre on Tuesday (June 9).

“[Ty and I] got to basically have a lot of time off,” Nick, 20, has said of his first month of filming. “We went snorkeling, went on hikes, went to the beach. So, that really helped just to build the [sibling] relationship for when we started filming.”

Camilla Belle came out in full fashion force in an Andrew Gn dress, Brian Atwood “Astral” pumps, and Jimmy Choo clutch. The Brazilian babe, who was accompanied at the premiere by filmmaker Izak Rappaport, starred in 1997′s The Lost World: Jurassic Park (the second movie in the film franchise).

FYI: Nick is wearing Zegna. Ty is wearing a tuxedo by Ralph Lauren and unreleased chrome shoes by Nike. Camilla wears Brian Atwood shoes.

Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard face off against the dinosaurs in these brand new posters for their film Jurassic World.

A brand new trailer for the highly anticipated movie was just released and it looks awesome. Further plot details that were revealed show that the film revolves around an advanced minded dinosaur that escapes confinement and starts terrorizing the park.

Jurassic World is going to be released in theaters on June 12 and it also stars Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, Irrfan Khan, Vincent D’Onofrio, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, BD Wong, and Judy Greer.

If you weren’t already pumped for Jurassic World, the commercial that aired for the 2015 Super Bowl will definitely have you on the edge of your seat.

The highly anticipated film — starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard — is set to hit theaters this summer.

The commercial shows some new scenes we haven’t seen before, including one of Chris‘ character training raptors and the kids (played by Nick Robinson and Ty Simpkins) being attacked by a dinosaur similar to a scene in the first Jurassic Park movie!

Some spoilers about the film leaked recently and director Colin Trevorrow spoke out about what was true.

“Jurassic World takes place in a fully functional park on Isla Nublar. It sees more than 20,000 visitors every day. You arrive by ferry from Costa Rica. It has elements of a biological preserve, a safari, a zoo, and a theme park. There is a luxury resort with hotels, restaurants, nightlife and a golf course. And there are dinosaurs. Real ones. You can get closer to them than you ever imagined possible. It’s the realization of John Hammond’s dream, and I think you’ll want to go there,” Colin told Slash Film.

Ty Simpkins has reportedly landed a lead role in the upcoming film Jurassic World, according to Deadline.

The 12-year-old actor has previously worked with the film’s producer Steven Spielberg on War of the Worlds and he has also starred in Iron Man 3, both Insidious films, Revolutionary Road, and more.

Just Jared Jr. interviewed Ty back in May and he told us that Jurassic Park is one of his favorite films, so this must be a dream come true for him!

Jake Johnson and Bryce Dallas Howard are reportedly up for the adult leads in the film, though nothing has been confirmed at this point.
