Former NFL tight end Vernon Davis is speaking out for the first time about the sudden death of his brother, former NFL cornerback Vontae Davis.
If you didn’t see the tragic news, Vontae, who played 10 seasons before retiring in 2018, was found dead in a Florida home at the age of 35.
Vernon has now given his first interview, where he gave slightly more insight into the situation surrounding his brother’s passing.

Vernon Davis might not be playing football any longer, but his body still looks like he’s a full-time athlete!
The 36-year-old former football player put his ripped abs on display while leaving a Dancing With the Stars practice session on Thursday (October 8) in Los Angeles.
In an interview this week, Vernon says he probably would not have played in the NFL this season because of the pandemic.
“I would totally be concerned because I worry about my family and those who can be affected by it,” Vernon told TMZ. “Probably not. I probably would have opted out.”
