Paul Rudd Hosts Big Slick Celebrity Weekend to Benefit Children's Mercy Hospital!

Paul Rudd brought a ton of his famous friends together for Big Slick Celebrity Weekend!

The 49-year-old actor stepped out for the charity event on Saturday (June 2) in his hometown of Kansas City, Mo.

He co-hosted the event alongside fellow Kansas City natives Jason Sudeikis and Eric Stonestreet.

Other attendees included Hilarie Burton, Adam Devine, Will Forte, Chris Harrison, Taran Killam, Laura Marano, Katherine McNamara, Al Roker, Angela Kinsey, Charlie Day, Chris Daughtry, David Cook and Haley Joel Osment.

The event helped raise more the $2 million benefitting pediatric cancer research at Children’s Mercy Hospital.

Activities included visiting kids at the hospital, a celebrity softball game, a celebrity bowling event as well as a party and auction!

The celebrities joined together to read aloud actual hilarious texts from their real mothers for Mother’s Day on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday night (May 10).

Anthony Anderson, Ike Barinholtz, Jack McBrayer, Patton Oswalt, Will Forte, YG and Tony Hale also participated in the funny segment.

“As you know know, we truly believe you are the greatest actress of your generation. We do hope you transition into dramatic work. I also woke up because I am worried you are not wearing enough sunscreen and taking the B-12 I got you from a Costco. I hope this doesn’t wake you. Please give Allison Janney our love and congratulations. No one deserves the Oscar more than her,” Anna‘s mom texted her.

Emmy Rossum Spills on How Will Forte Kept Her Laughing on the 'A Futile and Stupid Gesture' Set

Emmy Rossum is getting ready for the premiere of A Futile and Stupid Gesture!

The 31-year-old actress stepped out at the IMDB Studio ahead of the film’s debut at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival on Monday (January 22) in Park City, Utah.

Emmy was joined by her co-stars Domhnall Gleeson, Peter Principato, David Wain, Jonathan Stern and Thomas Lennon.

While in the studio, Emmy opened up about how the movie’s star Will Forte kept her laughing on set.

“Right before all of our romantic scenes, right after they would say rolling, he would whisper to me: I just farted,” Emmy explained.

FYI: Emmy is wearing a Wolford bodysuit.

Will Forte Shares the Story Behind 'National Lampoon' in 'A Futile and Stupid Gesture' - Watch the Trailer!

The first trailer for A Futile and Stupid Gesture has been released – and it looks hysterical!

The upcoming Netflix comedy follows the ups and down of the creators of the infamously funny National Lampoon business back in the 1970s and ’80s.

Will Forte stars as Doug Kenney with Domhnall Gleeson as Henry Beard, the duo behind the National Lampoon magazine and production company that spawned Animal House and Caddyshack.

Emmy Rossum, Matt Walsh, Natasha Lyonne, Thomas Lennon, Martin Mull, and Joel McHale also star in the movie.

A Futile and Stupid Gesture will be available for streaming on Netflix starting on January 26, 2018.

Olivia Munn and Ellie Kemper arrive for the Night of Too Many Stars event at The Theater at Madison Square Garden on Saturday (November 18) in New York City.

The event is held every year and aired on HBO to unite America to raise money for autism programs.
