Carrie Underwood: You Never Know What'll Happen on Idol!

Carrie Underwood brings a little country to the big city as she performs on the Today show on Friday (July 30) in NYC.

The 27-year-old singer and newlywed performed hits including “Undo It,” “Cowboy Casanova” and “Before He Cheats”!

Carrie told Matt Lauer that although she was an Idol champ, she’s just as eager to hear about the new judging panel as at-home viewers are!

“Everybody’s like, ‘Do you know anything?’” Carrie said. “I’m like, ‘I know what you know. I have nothing.’”

“The whole world of music is so vast. There are so many people who know what they’re talking about,” Carrie added. “You never know what’s going to happen [with American Idol]!”
