Christina Hendricks & Ashley Olsen Celebrate Opening of Bergdorf Goodman's New Jewelry Salons!

Christina Hendricks strikes a pose on the red carpet while attending Bergdorf Goodman X Gemfields VIP Party held at Bergdorf Goodman on Tuesday (December 15) in New York City.

The 40 year-old actress was joined by Ashley Olsen and Solange Knowles at the event celebrating the opening of Bergdorf Goodman’s new jewelry salons.

The new salons – which take visual cues from 1930s French moderne interior icons including André Arbus, Serge Roche and Jean-Michel Frank – are meant to make the store’s jewelry shopping experience more private.

“Think about what we were selling in there – the experience of buying jewelry with people rushing to the elevator behind you is not really the best-selling ceremony for that level of product,” said Linda Fargo, senior vice president, store presentation director (via WWD). “We wanted to create something that was still grand, yet intimate.”
