Tim Kaine Accepts Vice Presidential Nomination at Democractic National Convention 2016 (Video)
Tim Kaine waves to the crowd while taking the stage at the 2016 Democratic National Convention held at the Wells Fargo Center on Wednesday evening (July 27) in Philadelphia, Penn.
The 58-year-old politician formally accepted the Vice Presidential nomination from Hillary Clinton.
“For my friend Hillary Clinton, I humbly accept my party’s nomination to be Vice President of the United States,” Kaine said. “Can I be honest with you about something? I never expected to be here.”
“I want to tell you why I trust Hillary Clinton,” Kaine added. “On a personal level, as he’s serving our nation abroad, I trust Hillary Clinton with our son’s life.”
