Jason Momoa Exits 'The Crow' Reboot, Apologizes to Fans

The Crow reboot has fallen apart and the star Jason Momoa has exited the project, he confirmed.

“I’ve waited 8 years to play this dream role. I love you @corinhardy and @sonypictures unfortunately I may have to wait 8 more. Not our team. But I swear I will. James O’Barr sorry to let you down I won’t on the next. This film needs to be set free. And to the fans. Sorry. I can’t play anything but what this film deserves and it needs love. I’m ready when it’s right. Love u Corin aloha j,” Jason posted on Instagram.

Director Corin Hardy has also reportedly exited the remake, Deadline reports. The publication also reports that the shut down is due to “creative and financial differences with Samuel Hadida,” who was financing the picture.

The Crow, which was a remake of the 1994 original, was supposed to be released on October 11, 2019 by Sony.
