Millie Bobby Brown Addresses Online Bullies in Her MTV Awards Speech (Video)

Millie Bobby Brown is speaking out in response to the online bullies who led her to delete her Twitter account last week.

The 14-year-old actress won the award for Best Performance in a Show and accepted the prize in a video-taped speech, which aired at the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards on Monday night (June 18) on MTV.

“Since I know there are many young people watching this, and even to the adults, too, who could probably use the reminder that I was taught — if you don’t have anything nice to say, just don’t say it,” Millie said. “There should be no space in this world for bullying and I’m not going to tolerate it and neither should any of you. If you need a reminder of how worthy you are and to rise above the hate, message me on Instagram.”

Millie was unable to attend the event after splitting her kneecap the other day.
