Taika Waititi Plays Hitler in 'Jojo Rabbit' - Watch the First Trailer

The first trailer for Taika Waititi‘s upcoming movie Jojo Rabbit has arrived!

The 44-year-old Thor: Ragnarok director is starring in the film as an imaginary version of Adolf Hitler and he also wrote and directed the highly anticipated movie.

Jojo Rabbit is a World War II satire that follows a lonely German boy (Roman Griffin Davis) whose world view is turned upside down when he discovers his single mother (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a young Jewish girl (Thomasin McKenzie) in their attic. Aided only by his idiotic imaginary friend, Adolf Hitler (Waititi), Jojo must confront his blind nationalism.

The film also stars Sam Rockwell, Rebel Wilson, Alfie Allen, and Stephen Merchant. It will hit theaters on October 18.
