Will Poulter Will No Longer Star in 'Lord of the Rings' Amazon Series for This Reason

Will Poulter is no longer starring in the upcoming Lord of the Rings Amazon series.

It was previously announced in September that the 26-year-old Midsommar actor was attached to the show.

However, Variety revealed on Thursday (December 12) that he will no longer be appearing in the series due to “scheduling conflicts.”

The role that Will Poulter was going to play is unknown, but the search for someone to replace him has begun. Other actors reportedly starring in the show are Markella Kavenagh, Joseph Mawle, Maxim Baldry, and Ema Horvath.

Not much is known about the plot of the new Lord of the Rings series except that it will delve into new storylines that take place before J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Fellowship of the Ring.”
