VMAs 2020 Announces First Three Performers for Live Show: BTS, J Balvin & Doja Cat!

The first three performers have been announced for the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards!

The first three performers to take the stage will be BTS in their VMAs debut with their song “Dynamite,” Doja Cat, and J Balvin.

The MTV VMAs will be the first awards show to air live and in person since the COVID-19 pandemic started. Be sure to tune in later this month!

This year’s event will be aired live on Sunday, August 30 at 8 p.m. ET. It features brand new categories, including “Best Music Video From Home” and “Best Quarantine Performance.”
