Bill Murray Hints He May Be In 'Ant-Man 3' During New Interview

It seems Bill Murray is joining the MCU!

In a new interview, the 71-year-old actor hinted very heavily that he would be part of the upcoming Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania movie.

According to Variety, Bill chatted with German paper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung that he just wrapped his role in the Marvel film, without even mentioning the name or director Peyton Reed‘s name.

“You know, recently I made a Marvel movie,” before immediately seeming to regret the disclosure: “I probably won’t tell you, but never mind,” he said.

He then revealed he was brought onto the project by Peyton.

“In any case, some people were quite surprised why I decided on such a project,” he shared. “But for me the thing was quite clear: I got to know the director — and really liked him very much. He was funny, humble, everything you want from a director.”

He also cited Bring It On, which Peyton directed, and said it was a “damn good” film.

“So I agreed, although I’m not interested in these huge comic book adaptations as an actor otherwise,” Bill said. “Let’s put it this way: the director is a good guy, and now I’ve at least tried out what it’s like to shoot a Marvel movie, but I don’t think I need that experience a second time.”

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania will star Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, and newest cast addition, Jonathan Majors.
