Get to Know 'Love of My Life' Singer Avery Lynch With These 10 Fun Facts! (Exclusive)

1. I played piano for a wedding ceremony when I was 8 and I had an American Girl doll sitting at the piano with me and we wore matching dresses. We looked adorable.

2. I was a fishing camp counselor for 5 years and I never knew how to fish and I still don’t.

3. I recorded my first single in my Subaru Outback down the street from my house in a high school stadium parking lot. I had to take breaks to turn on the AC cause it was during the summer.

4. When I was 11, my voice was in a Valentine’s Day singing cupcake toy that sold in Kmart. They don’t sell them anymore but my family has a few and I thought it was the coolest thing ever.

5. I have a bachelor’s degree in business management that I hope to never use.

6. The first song I figured out how to play on piano was “Don’t Stop The Music” by Rihanna. I was probably 6 years old at the time and that’s what got my parents to enroll me in piano lessons.

7. When I was little (probably 4-6 years old) and I would go to the beach with my family/family friends, they would build a stage for me out of sand and stick a big shovel into it as my microphone, and I would sing “Tomorrow” from Annie for anyone on the beach who wanted to watch. I would also do this any time my family had construction workers/repair people over.

8. I have all of the important national food holidays in my calendar so I can make sure to celebrate.

9. I performed “Vienna” by Billy Joel at my high school graduation with two of my very talented friends, and I’m so glad I did it but I never want to do it again. It was a whole stadium of people I knew and their families. I was very stressed as you could imagine.

1-. I played the tenor saxophone when I was in 5th and 6th grade and I also play a little guitar but I’m not very good at it. It’s a work in progress.
