Lindsay Lohan Reveals If She Is Ready For 'Freaky Friday' & 'Mean Girls' Sequels

Lindsay Lohan is down to revisit one of her most popular movie roles.

The 36-year-old Falling for Christmas actress has been on a press tour promoting her new Netflix Christmas movie with Chord Overstreet.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she revealed how she felt about doing sequels for two of her teen classics – Mean Girls and Freaky Friday. Lindsay said that she was definitely down for one and teased who really got to decide about the other.

Lindsay revealed that she was absolutely down for a Freaky Friday sequel. She confirmed that she’s already spoken to her former co-star Jamie Lee Curtis about it.

“We did speak about it, yeah,” she told host Jimmy Fallon. “Let’s just take the fact that I was on set filming at the time, and Jamie Lee Curtis writes, and you just get excited and distracted immediately, so I had to bring myself down to Earth and be like, ‘I’m on set, I have to focus.’ Then she said Freaky Friday 2, and I got more excited.”

“We would both be into it,” she added.

On the topic of a possible Mean Girls sequel, Lindsay deferred to Tina Fey and Lorne Michaels, who created the first movie.
