'American Idol' Contestant CJ Harris' Cause of Death Confirmed After Passing at 31

If you didn’t see, former American Idol contestant CJ Harris passed away on Sunday (January 15) at the young age of 31.

CJ made it to the top six back during the 2014 season. His cause of death has now been confirmed by the coroner.

The Walker County Coroner’s Office confirmed to Deadline that CJ suffered a fatal heart attack. He was taken to the hospital and CPR was performed.
