Sam Asghari Responds to Jobless Rumors & Compares Himself to Leonardo DiCaprio

Sam Asghari reacted to a report that he’s currently jobless amid his split from Britney Spears.

The couple split after just over one year of marriage earlier this year with Sam, 29, filing for divorce.

A recent report suggested that he was out of work as Britney prepares for the impending release of her memoir and is rumored to be returning to the recording studio.

Sam addressed the rumor while on the SAG-AFTRA picket line, and he did so by making a comparison to Leonardo DiCaprio.

Speaking to a photographer, Sam didn’t deny that he was between jobs. Instead, he alleged that every actor was not working due to the ongoing strikes in Hollywood.

“That’s the point of this strike. I have the same amount of jobs as Leonardo DiCaprio does,” he said, via Page Six.

He continued speaking about the strike, saying, “I hope everything gets resolved very fast so that we can all go back to doing what we love doing the most, which is making art and inspiring people.”

Another recent report suggested that Britney was paying a hefty monthly sum for Sam‘s rent. Meanwhile, he addressed whispers that he was extorting the pop princess for a favorable divorce settlement.
