Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Signature Franchises: 1 Has Another Movie Soon, 3 Are Cancelled, 1 Got a Big Update in 2024 & More Still Have Statuses Unknown

AURORA TEAGARDEN – CANCELLED/PREQUEL MOVIES ONGOING

After Candace Cameron Bure hopped over to the GAC networks, Hallmark revealed the decision to stop production on any future Aurora Teagarden Mysteries.

The network did announce that the franchise will be revived, but as a prequel series, with Skyler Samuels taking over the role of Aurora in her “post-college days when she returns to her home in Lawrenceton.”

The first prequel movie aired in 2023, but we don’t know if more will follow yet.

CURIOUS CATERER – ONE NEW MOVIE TO COME!

The Curious Caterer series is still going on, and was renewed for two more movies in 2023!

Andrew Walker and Nikki DeLoach star as Tom and Goldy. The third movie – Fatal Vows – premiered in 2023. The fourth is called Foiled Plans and premieres on April 26, 2024.
