Deadline is reporting that the next step in the renewal process is “securing veteran cast members with new deals,” which will likely include getting Chandra Wilson on board with another contract. She’s also an executive producer on the show, so it’s a safe bet she’ll return! She has been with the show since season one.

James Pickens, Jr. – Contract Up, Will Need to Re-Negotiate In Order to Star in Season 21!

Similarly to Chandra Wilson, James Pickens, Jr. also does not have a contract past season 20. In order for him to star in season 21, he’ll have to enter negotiations. Since he’s been with the show since season one, it’s a safe bet he’ll be back for season 21!
