Princes William & Harry Believe That the BBC Interview Led to Princess Diana's Death

Prince William and Prince Harry both released statements today in response to the inquiry into the BBC interview with their late mom Princess Diana.

In their statements, the royals explained how the interview affected their family and how they believe it led to their mom’s untimely death.

William says that the interview “should never be aired again” and that the “deceitful way the interview was obtained substantially influenced what my mother said.”

For those that don’t know, this is the interview where Diana famously said that there were “three of us” in the marriage, referring to Prince Charles‘ future wife Camilla Parker-Bowles.

Harry went a little further by suggesting that the interview caused a ripple effect that led to Diana‘s death.

“Our mother was an incredible woman who dedicated her life to service. She was resilient, brave, and unquestionably honest. The ripple effect of a culture of exploitation and unethical practices ultimately took her life,” he said.
