Jay Leno Has 'Very Serious' Medical Emergency, Cancels Appearance

The 72-year-old former Tonight Show host was supposed to be performing at the Financial Brand Forum 2022 in Las Vegas on Monday night (November 14), but he is experiencing a “very serious” medical emergency.

An email was sent to attendees of the conference earlier in the day, which was obtained by People.

“His family was not able to provide us very many details, but there was a very serious medical emergency that is preventing Jay from traveling,” the email reads.

“All we know is that he is alive, so our prayers go out to him and his family tonight.”

His rep has not yet responded for comment. It’s not clear what the medical emergency is, but he has had some health issues more recently, including a high cholesterol diagnosis and a blockage in his heart.

He was seen attending an event with his wife back in August.
