Brie Larson & Miles Teller - Independent Spirit Awards 2014

Brie Larson and Miles Teller walk the carpet at the 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards held at the beach on Saturday (March 1) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The pair worked together in the film The Spectacular Now, which is up for a couple of awards at the show.

Brie was nominated for Best Female Lead for her work in Short Term 12. She was up against her The Spectacular Now co-star Shailene Woodley, Before Midnight‘s Julie Delpy, Blue Jasmine‘s Cate Blanchett, and Crystal Fairy‘s Gaby Hoffmann.

The award ultimately went to Cate, who is the frontrunner for the Oscar tomorrow evening.

Miles was seen at the New Balance backstage gift lounge at the Spirit Awards on Saturday.
