Sara Bareilles & Cyndi Lauper Teaming Up to Create Mash Up Song for Pediatric Cancer Awareness

Sara Bareilles leaves the Today show looking super happy and excited on Monday (May 12) in New York City.

The 34-year-old singer/songwriter is teaming up with Hoda Kotb and Cyndi Lauper to create a mash up song to raise money and awareness for pediatric cancer.

“We want to raise money for pediatric cancer, we wanted to create a really cool mash up music video…And Cyndi Lauper has ‘True Colors,’ so Sara and Cyndi are going to make a mash up video, involve kids, and have a concert on the plaza!” Hoda said.

“It was a no brainer,” Sara said about wanting to take part in this effort.
