Ben Affleck is reacting to Snoop Dogg mispronouncing his last name at the Golden Globe nominations announcement last month.
If you don’t remember, Ben, who is nominated for his work in The Tender Bar, had his last name pronounced “Afflay” by Snoop.

Even though the 2022 Golden Globes show will not be airing on NBC, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has announced that the awards will still be handed out next year, and the nominees were just released.
If you don’t remember, it was originally believed that the HFPA would be skipping 2022 for the annual awards show amid the controversy surrounding the organization’s lack of diversity. However, the organization is still going through with their awards and we have the full list of nominees.
Winners will be announced on January 9, 2022. It’s unclear what kind of ceremony will take place at this time as details have not been revealed.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has made a big announcement about the upcoming 2022 Golden Globe Awards event.
It was previously believed that the Golden Globes next year would be canceled after NBC said they would not be airing the awards show amid controversy surrounding the HFPA. The organization is now planning on moving forward with an awards ceremony without NBC.
The HFPA has now announced a date for the 2022 awards ceremony… and another major awards show has already claimed that date.

NBC said back in May 2020, “Change of this magnitude takes time and work, and we feel strongly that the HFPA needs time to do it right. As such, NBC will not air the 2022 Golden Globes. Assuming the organization executes on its plan, we are hopeful we will be in a position to air the show in January 2023.”
Now, the HFPA has announced its plans for the upcoming 2022 show.

NBC has announced that the will not be airing the 2022 Golden Globes award ceremony, amid controversy over the HFPA’s practices.
The network has issued a statement about the decision via Variety:
“We continue to believe that the HFPA is committed to meaningful reform. However, change of this magnitude takes time and work, and we feel strongly that the HFPA needs time to do it right,” it reads. “As such, NBC will not air the 2022 Golden Globes. Assuming the organization executes on its plan, we are hopeful we will be in a position to air the show in January 2023.”
The decision comes after the HFPA revealed their plans for reform over the weekend.
However, many celebrities, organizations and big streaming services have called them out on doing the least amount to put any changes into affect.
