Barbra Streisand Introduces 'BlacKkKlansman' During Best Picture Segment at Oscars 2019!

Barbra Streisand is making a special appearance!

The 76-year-old Hollywood icon presented at the 2019 Academy Awards on Sunday (February 24) at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

During her appearance onstage, Barbra introduced the film BlacKkKlansman during the Best Picture segment. The film was nominated for six awards during the evening’s ceremony, including Best Picture.

When she took to the stage, she explained how much she loved the movie and revealed she received a letter from director Spike Lee after tweeting praise for the film. She also received a long standing ovation.

Josh Brolin & Wife Kathryn Boyd Support Step-Mother Barbra Streisand at Hollywood for Science Gala!

Josh Brolin is dapper in a suit while hitting the carpet alongside his wife Kathryn Boyd while attending the 2019 Hollywood for Science Gala on Thursday (February 21) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 51-year-old Avengers star and his wife Kathryn, 31, were in attendance show their support for his step-mother Barbra Streisand, who has been married to his father, James Brolin, for 20-years.

“Each year, the Hollywood for Science honors environmental game-changers whose bold voices act as a catalyst to move science into action,” Global Fundraising chairman and event co-host Milutin Gatsby said in a statement ahead of the event.

Barbra and Gisele Bundchen were both the honorees this year.

Barbra Streisand Releases 'Walls' Album - Stream & Download!

Barbra Streisand has released her latest album Walls!

This marks the 36th studio album for the legendary singer and songwriter and the lead single “Don’t Lie to Me” was written in response to the political climate in America.

Walls features some original songs and covers of classics like “Imagine,” “What a Wonderful World,” “What the World Needs Now,” and “Happy Days Are Here Again.”

Barbra is the latest guest for James Corden‘s “Carpool Karaoke” and she opens up about her stage fright in the episode. “I don’t enjoy it. … I just don’t want to disappoint people,” she said about performing live shows.

Barbra Streisand Sings in the Car For First Time on 'Carpool Karaoke' with James Corden!

Barbra Streisand is the latest star to get in the car with James Corden for Carpool Karaoke, but this time, he’s in the passenger seat!

The legendary entertainer revealed during the segment that she recently had her license renewed and that she had to re-take the written driver’s test, which she failed several times.

Barbra said during the interview that she has never sung in the car before, but she finally did alongside James.

Some of the songs that the duo performed were “No More Tears (Enough is Enough),” “The Way We Were,” John Lennon‘s “Imagine,” “Don’t Rain on My Parade,” and Barbra‘s new song “Don’t Lie to Me” from her new album Walls.

Barbra Streisand Still Hasn't Seen 'A Star Is Born' in Full, But Here's What She Thinks the Parts She Has Seen...

Barbra Streisand admitted that she still hasn’t seen the full 2018 version of A Star Is Born with Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga.

“I haven’t seen it completed. Bradley did show me the opening. I was surprised by how similar it was to my version,” Barbra told the New York Times in a recent interview. “I loved how he used the drag bar. I thought that was new and interesting. What I’ve seen of the film I really liked.”

If you don’t know, Barbra starred in the 1976 version of A Star Is Born and won an Oscar for Best Music for her song “Evergreen.”
