Lee Daniels’ The Butler, starring Forest Whitaker and Oprah Winfrey, has topped this weekend’s box office with a $25 million debut!

According to THR, coming in at No. 2 was the Jennifer Aniston and Jason Sudeikis-led comedy We’re the Millers, which earned $17.8 million.

Tied for third place were Chloe Moretz‘s Kick-Ass 2 sequel, and Matt Damon and Jodie Foster‘s sci-fi flick Elysium, both bringing in $13.6 million.

Rounding out the top five was Planes, which earned $13.1 million.

Meanwhile, Jobs, the biopic starring Ashton Kutcher, made $6.7 million, and Liam Hemsworth‘s latest film Paranoia opened with $3.5 million.

Minka Kelly is red hot while attending the premiere of her latest film The Butler held at Regal Cinemas L.A. Live on Monday (August 12) in Los Angeles.

The 33-year-old actress was seen posing with co-star James Marsden and director Lee Daniels.

“It was intimidating. It was scary,” Minka recently shared to Life & Style about playing Jackie Kennedy in the flick. “It was incredibly humbling and a huge honor. I enjoyed it very much.”

The 23-year-old English actor was joined by co-stars Jesse Williams and Elijah Kelley.

The 59-year-old media mogul was joined on the red carpet by her co-stars Forest Whitaker, Jane Fonda, and Cuba Gooding, Jr.

James Marsden and Jesse Williams suit up at the premiere of their new film Lee Daniels’ The Butler on Monday (August 5) at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York City.

The guys were joined at the event by their co-stars Lenny Kravitz, Terrence Howard, Cicely Tyson, and a pregnant Yaya Alafia.

Forest Whitaker and Oprah Winfrey pair up on the red carpet at the premiere of their new film Lee Daniels’ The Butler on Monday (August 5) at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York City.

The stars were joined at the event by their director Lee Daniels.

Forest brought along his wife Keisha while Oprah brought along her longtime partner Stedman Graham.

Earlier in the day, Forest and Oprah joined their castmates at a press conference for the film at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel.

The 44-year-old actress met up with Liev‘s co-star Jane Fonda on the red carpet at the event.
