Buzz Aldrin is married!
The astronaut – who was the second man to walk on the moon in 1969 – celebrated his 93rd birthday on Friday (January 20) by marrying his longtime love Dr. Anca Faur.
“On my 93rd birthday & the day I will also be honored by Living Legends of Aviation I am pleased to announce that my longtime love Dr. Anca Faur & I have tied the knot,” Buzz announced on Twitter.

The two were both in attendance at Forbes Travel Guide’s Five-Star Recipients Dinner on Tuesday night (February 27) at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

CEO Jerry Inzerillo hosted celebs at the event, including Cindy‘s husband Rande Gerber, Buzz Aldrin, Rachel Roy, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Dermott Mulroney and Apolo Ohno.
Guests enjoyed champagne at the event, followed by an after party at the Jean-Georges Beverly Hills restaurant at the Waldorf Astoria.
Corey Stoll is set to play the role of astronaut Buzz Aldrin in the upcoming space movie First Man, which will be directed by La La Land‘s Oscar-winning director Damien Chazelle.
The film will star Ryan Gosling as Neil Armstrong and The Crown‘s Claire Foy as his wife.
Kyle Chandler is in talks to play astronaut Deke Slayton, according to The Tracking Board.
The film will follow NASA’s attempt to land a man on the moon with Armstrong becoming the first person to step foot on the moon in 1969. Aldrin was the second to step on the moon.
First Man already has a release date set for October 12, 2018.

The 55-year-old actor and directed was joined on the red carpet by legendary astronaut Buzz Aldrin as they celebrated the 60th anniversary of the watch brand’s famous Speedmaster model – which has been worn by every piloted NASA mission since 1965.

Bill Nye (yes, the science guy) may be considering a new career!
The 61-year-old beloved science educator and television personality made his modeling debut during 2017 New York Fashion Week: Men’s on Tuesday (January 31) in New York City.
Bill strutted his stuff in a metallic space shuttle print suit during Nick Graham‘s fashion show, who he once collaborated with on a line of bow ties.
He was also joined in the show by former astronaut Buzz Aldrin.
And not only did Bill rule the runway once, but he did it twice! The following day, he walked in the inaugural Blue Jacket Fashion Show, which benefited the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
