'Green Lantern' HBO Max Series Is Being Entirely Redeveloped - What's Happening With the DC Comics Show Now?

The Green Lantern series is going in a new direction.

The TV series, which has been in development since 2019 from producer Greg Berlanti, originally focused on Guy Gardner and Alan Scott, and had already cast Finn Wittrock and Jeremy Irvine as the respective Green Lanterns.

'Man of Steel 2' Reportedly In the Works with Henry Cavill Expected to Star as Superman Again!

Henry Cavill fans have some great news to celebrate!

The 39-year-old actor is reportedly expected to reprise his role as Superman in a new standalone movie for Warner Bros.

A new report from The Hollywood Reporter about the future of the DC Extended Universe reveals that Warner Bros. has “an intense desire to reprise the Cavill iteration of the hero.”

Here's Why Henry Cavill Has Been Trending, But DC Universe Spoilers Are Involved So Beware!

Henry Cavill has been a trending topic on Twitter for the past day and there’s a really exciting reason for it.

The news that is spreading around involves some major spoilers for the DC Extended Universe movies, so beware of reading any further if you don’t want to know anything yet.

Henry is best known for playing Clark Kent / Superman in the movies Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Justice League. Despite being a fan-favorite among superhero fans, he has not returned as the beloved character since the 2017 movie (unless you count Zack Snyder‘s cut of Justice League, which was released in 2021).

New 'Black Adam' Trailer Gives Better Look at Aldis Hodge's Hawkman Costume

Dwayne Johnson‘s upcoming superhero movie Black Adam is hitting theaters next month and the new trailer has been released!

The trailer dropped during NBC’s Thursday Night Football debut on Thursday (September 8) and you can watch it right here.

In ancient Kahndaq, Teth Adam was bestowed the almighty powers of the gods. After using these powers for vengeance, he was imprisoned, becoming Black Adam (Johnson). Nearly 5,000 years have passed and Black Adam has gone from man, to myth, to legend. Now released, his unique form of justice, born out of rage, is challenged by modern day heroes who form the Justice Society: Hawkman (Aldis Hodge), Dr. Fate (Pierce Brosnan), Atom Smasher (Noah Centineo) and Cyclone (Quintessa Swindell).

The trailer gives us our best look yet at Aldis in his Hawkman costume!

Also starring in the movie are Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, Mo Amer, and Bodhi Sabongui.

'Aquaman 2' & 'Shazam! 2' Release Dates Pushed Back

Aquaman and Shazam! fans will need to wait a bit longer to see the highly anticipated sequels.

The James Wan-directed Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom was originally set to be released on March 17, 2023.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods was set to be released in December of 2022.

Black Canary is still happening.

Following the news of Batgirl‘s abrupt cancellation at HBO Max, there is now an update about the Birds of Prey character’s standalone movie, which was announced a year ago at the streamer.

A spokesperson for Warner Bros. Pictures opened up about the status of the spinoff.

Kevin Smith Reveals HBO Max Cancelled Another Show

Another HBO Max production is being canceled.

Kevin Smith has confirmed the fate of one of his long-anticipated projects set to be housed by the streamer.

As Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Kaslav defended cancelling Batgirl amid reports of the network’s potential layoffs, the 52-year-old filmmaker and comic book writer spoke out during the latest episode of Hollywood Babble-On.
