The cast of Glee reunited to pay tribute to late co-star Naya Rivera and you can watch the video right here!

16 members of the cast gathered on Zoom to talk about their favorite memories of Naya on the 10-year anniversary of her character Santana Lopez coming out as a lesbian on network TV. The reunion was part of the 2021 GLAAD Media Awards, which aired on Thursday (April 8).

Demi Lovato, who played Santana’s girlfriend Dani on Glee, opened the tribute. She said, “I will always cherish the chance I got to play Naya‘s girlfriend, Dani, on Glee. The character Naya played, Santana Lopez, was groundbreaking for closeted queer girls, like I was at the time. Her ambition and accomplishments inspired Latina women all over the world.”

The cast members who then participated in the reunion included Jacob Artist, Chris Colfer, Darren Criss, Jessalyn Gilsig, Dot-Marie Jones, Vanessa Lengies, Jane Lynch, Kevin McHale, Heather Morris, Matthew Morrison, Alex Newell, Lauren Potter, Amber Riley, Harry Shum Jr., Becca Tobin, and Jenna Ushkowitz. Notably absent were Lea Michele and Dianna Agron.

Glee's Heather Morris Apologizes to Those Who Were Triggered by Her Mark Salling Comments

Heather Morris is apologizing to anyone who felt triggered by the recent comments she made about her late Glee co-star Mark Salling.

After someone placed a vomit face emoji over Mark‘s face in a tweet about Glee, Heather spoke out to defend the memory of Mark and said it’s “incredibly tough” to act like his death is “invisible.”

Before he committed suicide in January 2018, Mark pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography. He was expected to serve four to seven years in jail and have to register as a sex offender.

Glee's Heather Morris Says It's 'Incredibly Tough' to Act Like Mark Salling's Death is 'Invisible'

Heather Morris is speaking out to make sure that the death of her Glee co-star Mark Salling is not overlooked.

It all started when Heather noticed that a fan account tweeted about Glee‘s season two Christmas episode, but included a vomit face emoji on Mark‘s face.

“the vomit face on Marks face is offensive,” Heather tweeted.

Mark died by suicide in January 2018, just weeks after pleading guilty to possession of child pornography. He was expected to serve four to seven years in jail and have to register as a sex offender.

Two other original Glee stars have passed away – Cory Monteith and Naya Rivera – and some fans only choose to remember these two stars.

One day after slamming the fan’s tweet, Heather returned to Twitter to release a lengthy statement about Mark and why she chooses to remember all three co-stars who died.

Naya Rivera's 'Glee' Co-Stars Launch Fundraiser For Her Favorite Charity

Naya Rivera is being remembered by her Glee cast in a very special way this holiday season.

Heather Morris, Amber Riley, Jenna Ushkowitz, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale and many more from the Glee cast have teamed up for the SNIXXMASs Charity Drive, which will benefit one of Naya‘s favorite charities, Alexandria House, a nonprofit organization in Los Angeles that provides safe housing for women and children.

“If you were lucky enough to know Naya, you know she threw some epic parties,” the GoFundMe page reads about the fundraiser. “The best of them all was her annual Christmas party, which she dubbed Snixxmas. Snixxmas was like Naya herself… sparkling, fabulous and one hell of a good time! But it wasn’t only glitz, glamour and gay apparel. Every holiday season, Naya found ways to give back.”

It continues, “Recently, Naya began working with a local non-profit in Los Angeles called Alexandria House. She not only raised and contributed funds for them, but also volunteered her time and effort to the organization.”

Heather also added another note on her own Instagram page, writing that Naya “always inspired me because she never let a holiday season go by without giving back to those in need. We’re keeping Naya’s spirit alive this holiday season by raising funds for one of her favorite organizations, Alexandria House. Please, give what you can and help spread Snixxmas cheer.”

Naya sadly passed away earlier this year after accidentally drowning in Lake Piru in California during a weekend trip with her only son, Josey Dorsey.

Her ex-husband, Ryan Dorsey, just recently filed a wrongful death lawsuit. Get all the details here…

Heather Morris Reflects On The Importance of Brittany & Santana's Relationship, Almost A Month After Naya Rivera's Death

Heather Morris is looking back on her fondest memories of Naya Rivera and focused on the importance of Glee‘s Brittany and Santana relationship in a new video.

“I have been feeling very heavy lately. I’ve been feeling this like aching in my heart to connect with my fans, to connect with everybody who’s been feeling a little lost and confused during this time,” Heather first started her video before talking about Brittana.

“I don’t need to explain what the importance of Santana and Brittany’s relationship was to all of you who are watching, because most of you felt like it was your gateway into your current life. Most of you felt like it was an inspiration to become your best self,” she shared, adding, “I want you to know that that was never lost on me. It was never lost on Naya.”

Heather continued, “We both knew how special that was. I think she knew a little bit more than I did. I really felt it a lot later with all the messages and all the people reaching out. and I knew the writers also knew that as well. They were basically writing for the fans.”

“I felt a really deep need to connect to all of you right now because I just know how important our relationship was to you all. And I know a lot of you feel very lost and very far away from what happened, a maybe a bit confused. And that’s completely normal,” she went on. “But I felt like it owed it to you guys because I think the fans were such a huge impact on our storyline and I want to thank you all for being such advocates and so supportive of Santana and Brittany’s relationship, because without you guys it never would have existed.”

“You guys helped create something for the writers and, for Naya and I, that made an impact that will last for a lifetime and beyond then. So I want to thank everyone here watching and I want to thank all the fans for your love and support,” Heather said, in a heartfelt thank you to fans. “I want you to know that we are all here with you, that grief looks different on everybody and I want you to be gentle and kind to yourself during this time. I think many of you may feel very far away and I hope this message will help you feel closer.”

Naya went missing after a swimming accident last month at Lake Piru, and her body was unfortunately found five days later on July 13.

Just recently, Heather opened up about her grief in another personal video to fans on social media. See it here…

“I made it to 1M followers in these last few weeks and at first I was resentful because I gained them from a tragedy, but after giving it a breath..
