Seann William Scott returns as Doug “The Thug” Glatt in Goon: Last of the Enforcers!

Synopsis: A pro lockout has reunited old teammates and brought a crew of new players to the bench; notably missing from the line-up, however, is everyone’s favourite enforcer and heart of the team, Doug “The Thug” Glatt. Sidelined after one too many hits and now married with a baby on the way, Doug is hanging up his skates and settling into life as an insurance salesman. But when Doug’s nemesis, Anders Cain (Wyatt Russell), is made captain of the Highlanders and new ownership threatens to tear his team apart, Doug is compelled back into action.

Tom Hardy‘s new series Taboo is getting ready to premiere on FX and he helped promote the show at the 2017 Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour on Thursday (January 12) at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena, Calif.

The 39-year-old actor was joined by co-stars Michael Kelly, Oona Chaplin, and David Hayman.

Tom explained that he decided to do the show because he wanted to play the character so badly. He opened up about trying to get creator Steven Knight to work on the show with him and dad Chips Hardy.

“We begged Steve to write our story because we had a concept and a basic treatment of the character, and Steve was busy and he had an offer informally, which was, ‘If you do Locke and Peaky Blinders, I would love to do your pilot and rewrite your title.’ That’s where it all started, and the three of us set about trying to create a new piece of work,” he said (via IGN).

Also in attendance at the TCA on Thursday were Legion‘s Dan Stevens, Aubrey Plaza, Rachel Keller, Jean Smart, Katie Aselton, Bill Irwin, Amber Midthunder, and Jeremie Harris, as well as Man Seeking Woman‘s Jay Baruchel, Katie Findlay, and Britt Lower.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia makes its grand season twelve return tonight (January 4)!

Stars of the hit show Charlie Day, his co-star/real-life wife Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Danny DeVito, Kaitlin Olson, Rob McElhenney and Glenn Howerton all hit the red carpet together at the season twelve premiere of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia last night (January 3) at the Fox Bruin Theatre in Los Angeles.

Also in attendance to show their support was Glenn‘s wife Jill Latiano and Amanda Peet, as well as the stars of Man Seeking Woman – Jay Baruchel, Britt Lower, Katie Findlay and Simon Rich – who celebrated the season three premiere of their show.

Billy Crystal and Josh Gad hit the stage for The Comedians panel during the FX Networks portion of the Television Critics Association press tour held at the Langham Hotel on Sunday (January 18) in Pasadena, Calif.

Also at the TCA panels were Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll stars Denis Leary, Elizabeth Gillies, and John Corbett, Louis‘ Louis CK, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia‘s Charlie Day, Danny DeVito and more, and Man Seeking Woman‘s Jay Baruchel, among others.

At the panel, Billy created some controversies with his views on homosexual interaction on television.

“Sometimes I think, ‘Ah that’s too much for me,’” Billy, who played television’s first openly gay character on the 1970s sitcom Soap shared. “I did it in front of a live audience and there were times when I would say to Bob [Seagren], ‘I love you,’ and the audience would laugh nervously. I wanted to stop the taping and go, ‘What is your problem?’”

“Sometimes, it’s just pushing it a little too far for my taste and I’m not going to reveal to you which ones they are,” Billy added.

Cate Blanchett is glowing as she hits the red carpet at the premiere of her latest film How to Train Your Dragon 2 held at Event Cinemas George Street on Monday (June 9) in Sydney, Australia.

The day before, the 45-year-old actress’ cast mates America Ferrera, Jay Baruchel, Craig Ferguson and Djimon Hounsou promoted the flick at the Los Angeles premiere held at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, Calif.

Jonah Hill flashes a huge smile while attending the photo call for his highly anticipated film How To Train Your Dragon 2 in Times Square on Friday (June 6) in New York City.

The 30-year-old actor was joined by his co-star Jay Baruchel to spread the word on the film, which hits theaters on Friday, June 13.

America Ferrera and her co-star Jay Baruchel take a moment to pose for a photograph while taping her appearance on CBS3 Philly on Thursday (June 5) in Philadelphia, Penn.

The day before, the 30-year-old actress and Jay, 32, hit the set of Despierta America at the Univision Headquarters to promote their upcoming film How To Train Your Dragon 2, which hits theaters on Friday (June 13).

America recently opened up about watching the animated flick for the first time during the 2014 Cannes Film Festival.

“When I saw the rough cuts, the animation wasn’t complete, especially in the third act. I had a sense of what the story was, but the animation wasn’t done. And what really struck me was there were times where I forgot I was watching animated characters,” America expressed (via Vulture). “There were scenes where I felt like the facial expressions from the performances felt so human. And I just forgot. I was just engrossed in the story and I was so moved. Jay definitely caught me crying. I was sitting next to Jay and he turns to me and he’s like, ‘Are you crying?’ ‘Yes, yes I am.’ But it was wonderful. I loved this film. I cannot, cannot wait for the fans to see it.”
