The 2015 Kennedy Center Honors is airing tonight, and George Lucas is being honored this year.
At the event, George‘s wife Mellody Hobson (among others) will be giving a tribute to her hubby. If you didn’t know, Mellody is quite the accomplished businesswoman and activist!

The 40-year-old actor was spotted earlier in the day hanging out with his friend Sienna Miller, who he worked with in the smash hit movie American Sniper and the upcoming Chef.
Also in attendance at the event were Amy Schumer, Seth Meyers with wife Alexi Ashe, Transparent star Jeffrey Tambor and creator Jill Solloway, Last Week Tonight‘s John Oliver, George Lucas and wife Mellody Hobson, and Empire creator Lee Daniels with his show’s star Naomi Campbell.

Catherine Zeta-Jones, Michael Douglas, and James Franco all walk the red carpet at the Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Celebration held at Rockefeller Plaza on Sunday (February 15) in New York City.
Also in attendance at the star-studded event were Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson, Sean Hayes, Glenn Close with a skull, Sarah Silverman, Billy Crystal, Steven Spielberg with wife Kate Capshaw, and George Lucas with wife Mellody Hobson.

George Lucas and his wife Mellody dote on their adorable daughter Everest while out on their vacation on Wednesday (January 1) in St. Barts.
The 69-year-old Star Wars creator and mogul debuted his adorable four-month-old baby that day after spending New Year’s on the island – Everest is George‘s first biological child. He has three adopted children: Amanda, Katie, and Jett.

Everest was delivered via-surrogate in August of this past year. She’s a cutie!
George and Mellody were married last June at the Skywalker Ranch.
George Lucas tied the knot with his longtime love Mellody Hobson on Saturday (June 22) in Marin County, Calif.
The 69-year-old Star Wars creator has been dating Mellody, 44, since 2006 and they became engaged in January of this year.
“Let’s give a Galactic shout out to Master George Lucas & his Bride Melodie on This their WEDDING DAY!! Congrats!!!!!!” Samuel L. Jackson tweeted that day.
“George Lucas Melody Hobson wedding was joy to behold Bill Moyers service was beautiful, nothing short of profound. Congrats Mr&Mrs Lucas,” Ron Howard added on Twitter.
Mellody heads an investment management firm and she acts as a money and personal finance contributor to ABC News, in addition to serving as chairman of the board of DreamWorks Animation.
