Ciara and Missy Elliott leveled up on the stage at the 2018 American Music Awards on Tuesday (October 9) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

The two performed a high energy medley of “Level Up” and “Dose.”

“Selfies With My Sis Miss. @MissyMisDemeanorElliot @AMAs Rehearsals Special Moments #LevelUp #Dose,” Ciara wrote on her Instagram prior to the performance.

Ciara, Missy Elliott and Dua Lipa are performing at the 2018 American Music Awards!

The three stars were all announced as performers at the upcoming awards show on Friday (September 28).

Ciara and Missy will be performing two tracks including “Level Up,” and Ciara will also perform “Dose,” while Dua will be performing two songs including “Electricity” as a first-time nominee.

Benny Blanco, Halsey, Khalid, Cardi B, Bad Bunny, J Balvin, Mariah Carey, Post Malone, Ty Dolla $ign and Carrie Underwood have all been previously announced as performers during the show as well. There will also be a tribute to Aretha Franklin.

The show will be hosted by Tracee Ellis Ross, and will broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Tuesday, October 9 at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC.

Missy Elliott is surprising her “Funky White Sister”!

Mary Halsey, the woman who went viral over the summer with her rendition of Missy‘s “Work It” at a local karaoke event at a park, made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday (September 13).

During her appearance, Mary told Ellen she was shocked when Missy retweeted her video with praise and says “Work It” has been her go-to karaoke song for 15 years.

Later on, Mary‘s surprised on-stage by surprise guest Missy during her amazing performance of “Work It.”

While at the show, Missy revealed what intrigued her about Mary’s cover and talks about the mystery of the lyrics in her iconic song. Plus, the rap superstar surprises Mary with a one-of-a-kind shirt and Ellen gives her a “Missy’s Funky White Sister” jacket!

Alicia Keys, Charlie Puth, and Lauren Jauregui attend the Yellow Ball!

The 37-year-old “No One” singer, the 26-year-old “Attention” crooner, and the 22-year-old Fifth Harmony member hit the yellow carpet at the event, hosted by American Express and Pharrell Williams, on Monday (September 10) at the Brooklyn Museum in New York City.

They were joined by Alicia‘s husband Swizz Beatz, Pharrell‘s wife Helen Lasichanh, Missy Elliott, A$AP Ferg, Shay Haley, Chad Hugo, June Ambrose, Billie Eilish, Halston Sage, Coco Rocha, and David Blaine.

The event was held in support of arts education nationwide.

That same day, Pharrell visited the Empire State Building in honor of the ball.

Janet Jackson poses with her friend Missy Elliott while attending the 2018 BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards on Thursday (August 30) at The Woodruff Arts Center’s Symphony Hall in Atlanta, Ga.

The legendary entertainer was honored with the BMI Icon Award during the event.

A bunch of stars, including Jussie Smollett, Justine Skye, Normani, and Teyana Taylor, performed during a tribute to Janet. Ciara was there to introduce a dance troupe’s tribute to the legend.

Missy made a surprise appearance to deliver a speech as a tribute to Janet.

Other stars at the event included Ludacris and Keri Hilson.

Ciara just dropped a remix for her new song “Level Up” and you need to hear it!

The 32-year-old entertainer teamed up with Missy Elliott and Fatman Scoop for the new version of the song.

Morgan Freeman is cool as ice in this 2018 Super Bowl Commercial!

The 80-year-old Going in Style actor partnered with soft drink brand Mountain Dew to advertise the company’s Ice flavor.

In the commercial, he lip syncs to Missy Elliott‘s “Get Ur Freak On” like a pro as he freezes the room around him.

Missy makes a cameo as well.

Before that, Peter Dinklage challenges him by lip syncing to Busta Rhymes‘ verse in Chris Brown‘s “Look at Me Now” while promoting Doritos Blaze.

They come face to face in the end.
