Monica Potter is pretty in pink while walking the red carpet at the 2013 Critics’ Choice Television Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Monday (June 10) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 41-year-old actress is nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her heartbreaking performance in Parenthood. She also just grabbed a prestigious nomination from the Television Critics Association today. We certainly hope an Emmy nomination is next.

Tatiana Maslany hit the red carpet that evening as well. She is nominated for Best Actress in a Drama Series for the breakout hit Orphan Black.

Hayden Panettiere, Morena Baccarin, Emily Mortimer, Archie Panjabi, and Monica Potter attend the second day of the Variety Emmy Studio on Thursday (May 30) at Palihouse in West Hollywood, Calif.

The ladies all participated in the Supporting Actress in a Drama Series panel to chat about their respective shows – Nashville, Homeland, The Newsroom, The Good Wife, and Parenthood.

Connie Britton, Anna Gunn, Kate Mara, Elisabeth Moss, Monica Potter, and Kerry Washington take the cover of The Hollywood Reporter‘s Emmy Roundtable Drama Actresses issue.

Here’s what the ladies had to share with the mag:

Kate, on her early days in the business: “My mom has always been really, really supportive of me and my sister [actress Rooney Mara] since we were kids. It’s all I ever wanted to do, and no one in my family had ever acted before. It was very new, and she had no idea how to help me go that route, how to get an agent – none of that. It was all very foreign to us. I mean, I was playing the tree in The Wizard of Oz for the first 10 years of my acting career.”

Kerry, on race playing a factor in casting: “It’s a little bit different for me because I’ll audition for something and they’ll just decide that they’re not going “ethnic” with a character, which I hear a lot. People have artistic license … that’s what casting is: fitting the right look to the right character. Whereas you could maybe lose some weight, there’s not really anything I can do, nor would I want to, about being black.”

Connie, on weight issues in Hollywood: “We were shooting in a grocery store in Nashville, and when they called cut, there were these two older ladies standing there. One of them grabbed me and said, “You look so much bigger on camera!” And I’m like, ‘Thank you?’”

Elisabeth, on her old day job: “I worked at the silent movie theater here in L.A., but that actually was kind of cool. Though, I didn’t like cleaning the bathrooms as much.”

Olivia Munn is stylish as can be at the 2013 Television Academy Honors held at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Thursday (May 9) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 32-year-old The Newsroom star was joined at the event by Kristin Bauer, who brought along a pet pup, Parenthood‘s Monica Potter, Joy Bryant, Craig T. Nelson, John Corbett, Amy Brenneman, and host for the evening Dana Delany.

The Newsroom and Parenthood were both honored at the event – congrats!

Lauren Graham and Jason Ritter hit the red carpet at the 2013 PaleyFest Panel for their show Parenthood on Thursday (March 7) at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 45-year-old actress and Jason, 33, were joined by their co-stars Dax Shepard, Erika Christensen, Peter Krause, Mae Whitman, Joy Bryant, Craig T. Nelson, Monica Potter, Sam Jaeger, Miles Heizer, Max Burkholder, and Xolo Mariduena.

During the panel, Max took the question on whether the show would be returning for a season five.

“I don’t think there’s any way to know, or anything to officially announce, but I’m definitely crossing my fingers,” Max expressed.
