Princess Anne Reveals She Spent Queen Elizabeth's Last 24 Hours By Her Side

Princess Anne has released a statement about the death of her mom, Queen Elizabeth.

In her statement, the Princess Royal explained that she spent the last 24 hours of her mother’s life with her. She passed away on Thursday (September 8) and her funeral will take place next week.

Queen Elizabeth's Four Children Walk Behind Her Coffin During Procession in Scotland

Queen Elizabeth‘s four children – King Charles III, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward – walk behind her coffin as the hearse arrives at St. Giles’ Cathedral after the procession from the Palace of Holyroodhouse on Monday (September 12) in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The King and Camilla, the Queen Consort, accompanied by other Members of the Royal Family also attend a Service of Prayer and Reflection for the Life of The Queen before her coffin will be transferred to London, England.

Also in attendance were Anne‘s husband Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, Prince Edward‘s wife, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, and more.

The Queen passed away on Thursday (September 8) at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. Her official funeral will take place on Monday (September 19).

Queen Elizabeth's Funeral Dress Code: Prince Harry Reportedly Banned From Wearing Specific Attire While Prince Andrew Is Given Exception

Buckingham Palace released the dress code for Queen Elizabeth‘s funeral and the events leading up to the event.

Specifically, details were revealed about which members of the royal family will be allowed to wear military uniforms. Only working members of the royal family who hold military rank will be allowed to wear the traditional regalia.

Now, there’s some controversy surrounding Prince Harry and Prince Andrew and a source just revealed who will be wearing what.

Members of Royal Family Greet Well-Wishers in Scotland After Queen Elizabeth's Death (Photos)

Nearly all of the members of the royal family, except King Charles and his immediate family, stepped out together to greet well-wishes following the death of Queen Elizabeth.

Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward were joined by their spouses and children while viewing flower arrangements and greeting the public outside Crathie Kirk church on Saturday morning (September 10) in Aberdeen, Scotland.

That same morning, King Charles was in London with his family for the official accession ceremony, during which he was proclaimed king.

Anne was joined by her husband Timothy Laurence and their kids Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips. Andrew was joined by his daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, who he was seen comforting while checking out the flowers. Edward was joined by wife Sophie Countess of Wessex and their daughter Lady Louise Windsor.

3 Royals Got to See Queen Elizabeth Before She Passed Away

Queen Elizabeth sadly passed away on Thursday (September 8), and many members of the royal family rushed to be by her side at Balmoral Castle in Scotland.

Sadly, not every member of the royal family could make it in time before she died at the age of 96. In fact, most of them were not able to get there in time as her health rapidly declined.

Sources have since revealed to ET which members of the royal family were able to get there in time to see the Queen before her passing.

Queen Elizabeth's Royal Family Members Rushing to Be With Her, Kate Middleton Stays in England with Kids

Queen Elizabeth‘s health has been a topic for concern this morning after Buckingham Palace released a rare statement about how she is doing.

“Following further evaluation this morning, The Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision,” the palace released in a statement. “The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral.”

Now, the Palace has released further details about which family members have rushed to her side and who was forced to stay behind.

Kate Middleton & Prince William Share A Rare Moment at Order Of The Garter Service 2022

Kate Middleton and Prince William were seen sharing a joke together while arriving for the 2022 Order of the Garter Service held at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on Monday (June 13) in Windsor, England.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were seen in the rare moment just following the service inside the chapel before a reception brunch.

Princes Charles and Edward, as well as their spouses, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, and their sister, Princess Anne, were also seen at the event.

The Order of the Garter is the oldest and most senior Order of Chivalry in Britain, established by King Edward III nearly 700 years ago.

For this year’s service, the Duchess of Cornwall, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and former leader of the British House of Lords Baroness Amos were all inducted into the Order.
