Will Smith is taking on his son Trey in a Forumla 1 race!

The father-son duo checked race car driving off their bucket list during the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi.

“I grew up with serious racing dreams and desires that I was never able to fulfill. I always loved cars,” Will explained.

Speaking to Trey, he added, “Then when you were 15 years old and you started driving, the first thing I had you do was take professional driving courses. Deep down inside, I was going to live vicariously through you. And as any good son would do, you threw it back in my face. Deep in the back of your mind, you think you’re a better driver than me.”

With some help from Lewis Hamilton, Will and Trey decided to take it to the track to find out who was the faster, better driver!

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are having so much fun with their family this holiday season and they shared some great photos from Christmas Eve and Christmas morning!

On Christmas morning, Will posted a photo of him and Jada in festive onesies. He wrote, “We look a 1970’s Cop Duo patrolling the North Pole! Claus & Rudy – Sleighin’ All Night! Slayin’ All Day!”

Jada shared a photo of her and Trey with his mom Sheree Zampino. She captioned the pic, “Mom, Bonus Mom and Sun for our Christmas Eve sleigh ride ✨.”

Will Smith is getting honest about his relationship with his eldest child Trey.

In a recent Instagram post, the 50-year-old actor opened up about his relationship with his 26-year-old son and revealed that they wen through an extremely rough patch after Will and Trey‘s mom Sheree Zampino divorced back in 1995.

“I’m in Abu Dhabi at the F1 [Formula 1 Grande Prix]. I brought my son, Trey,” Will starts off in the post. “We’ve been hanging and I usually take my kids separately on stuff so they have their individual daddy time.”

Will then starts to get emotional when explaining, “So we’ve been doing this, hanging at the F1, and he said, ‘You know what dad? I just realized you’re not just my dad. I’m pretty sure you’re my best friend.’ I was like, [exhales], ‘Yeah man, prolly. Prolly.’”

“It has not always been like this between Trey & I. We STRUGGLED FOR YEARS after my Divorce from his Mother [actress Sheree Zampino],” Will captioned the video. “He felt betrayed & abandoned. It is a Wild Blessing to recover & restore a Loving Relationship with My Beautiful Son!”

Trey re-posted the video, writing, ““Awwwww shucks ♥️ you too big guy.”

Jaden Smith stylishly arrives on the red carpet at the Environmental Media Association EMA Awards on Saturday (October 22) in Burbank, Calif.

The 18-year-old actor and model was joined at the event by his family – including parents Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, and siblings Trey and Willow.

Jaden was honored at the event with the Male EMA Futures Award.

The newly 18-year-old actor and model was joined by the rest of his family, including his 15-year-old sister Willow, 23-year-old brother Trey and their parents Will and Jada.

Willow Smith wears a pop of color in a bright yellow tee as she exits a health food store with a pal on Thursday afternoon (May 5) in Agoura Hills, Calif.

The 15-year-old singer and her brothers Jaden and Trey are set to participate in VH1′s Dear Mama special this Mother’s Day weekend.

During the program, the three Smith kids send special messages to their mom.

“I just want to say that I love you, mom, so much. You’re the guide of my heart, my soul, my mind. I love you so much and Happy Mother’s Day,” Willow gushes.

She adds, “Whenever I have a problem or something that I feel like I can’t figure out, I’m always like, ‘What would mommy do? How would she approach the situation? What would Jada do?’”
