Jennifer Aniston's Christmas Eve Tradition: Dinner With Courteney Cox

Jennifer Aniston continued her annual Christmas Eve tradition by having dinner on Wednesday at Mastro’s Steakhouse in Beverly Hills with pals David and Courteney Cox Arquette and their 4-year-old daughter Coco. (Aniston is called “nouna” by Coco.)

Here’s what a source told People about the evening: “Jen and Courteney chatted non-stop Jen was also very sweet to Coco and the two giggled together… Jen usually gets steak, but she asked for fish instead and she ended up getting the sole and vegetables. Jen also had some white wine with her fish, while the rest of the table enjoyed steak. Courtney and David were also in a great mood and they acted very sweet to each other… Coco was walking around the restaurant without any shoes and when Courteney asked her where her shoes were, Coco said they were too tight and that she had to take them off. Both Jen and Courteney were smiling at her. Jen and Coco seem to have a very special bond and it was cute to watch Jen dote on Coco.”

Aniston‘s musician boyfriend John Mayer was MIA.

why does Jen feel the need to take a photo op for her xmas time? Where is John Mayer?
    Where is her dad?
    Where is her mom?
Where is her family? her brother? her aunts? uncles? cousins? niece/nephew?
    where is her real family?

Christmas with Courtney and David? and Davids and courtney family? Is there something void of Jen?
really why is there never a photo op of something real in Jens life? Like a real boyfriend.. that one she is truly in love with and not just using as a photo op or to promote a movie?
Or real family members that are actually related to her..that know her since she was an infant the ones with real family ties to her? where are they?

    WHAT? Says:

Wow I guess the Marley and Me promotion is done. I guess they weren’t love enough to stay together for Christmas. John rather spend time with his friends and family in NY and Jen rather spend it with her family Courtney. Don’t believe the lies Jen is not friends with her mother. Jen does the same thing over and over again. Next stop Mexico. Watch.

all of the commenters’ thoughts of what a “family” is is so close-minded. yes, traditionally, you would spend the holiday season with your mom, dad, brothers/sisters, etc., but you don’t have to every single year. but a family can be anything you want it to be as long as everyone is loved. and this was christmas EVE dinner. jen could be spending the actual christmas day dinner w/whomever, wherever.

    -
Instead of being uplifting and heartwarming, this excruciating effort is 90 minutes of mediocrity followed by 10 minutes of the most manipulative, mean-spirited pap ever put into a movie made for families.
    -
Marley and Me is mush. If the orphans in Oliver Twist were served this particular brand of syrupy slop, they’d refuse seconds and secretly discard the portion they already had. This is warm and fuzzy as crass and calculated.
    -
Are we supposed to find the endless arguments between Wilson and the certified entertainment void Aniston interesting or compelling?
    -
Brian’s Song didn’t have this protracted of a sendoff for James Caan. Overlong and overwrought, Marley and Me doesn’t do its source material justice. Instead of being heartwarming, it’s soul crushing.

Of course you could be spending the holidays with an extended family, but x-mas eve with your boyfriend on a different coast does not sound like a comittment.

    ewww Says:

why doesn’t pathetic and annoying Maniston leave Courtney alone so that she can spend time with her family? Ugly Chinnifer is always the annoying 3rd wheel. Poor David!

Everyone knows that her PR relationship with stupid Mayer is fake except for the dumb fans.

John spent Christmas Eve with his family and spent today with Jen and her family and then they are going on vacation together to Mexico.

Gee, Jen has a tradition of spending Xmas Eve with the Arquettes and John wanted to be with his family, what’s the big deal? They don’t need to be joined at the hip.

they are together today and are going on vacation to relax.

You people are so hard on them. Let them live their lives.

    It’s a tradition!

Jennifer Aniston met up with friends David and Courteney Cox Arquette and their 4-year-old daughter Coco Wednesday for their annual Christmas Eve dinner at Mastro’s Steakhouse in Beverly Hills.

“Jen and Courteney chatted non-stop,” a source tells PEOPLE. “Jen was also very sweet to Coco and the two giggled together.”

While Aniston’s beau John Mayer remained on the East coast, Aniston – dressed in black and smiling from ear to ear – joined the Arquettes and a few other friends in the restaurant’s private dining room, which overlooks the kitchen, and features a rhinestone chandelier.

“Jen usually gets steak, but she asked for fish instead and she ended up getting the sole and vegetables,” the source says. “Jen also had some white wine with her fish, while the rest of the table enjoyed steak. Courtney and David were also in a great mood and they acted very sweet to each other.”

Frank Sinatra played in the background and their table was festively decorated with candles.

“Coco was walking around the restaurant without any shoes and when Courteney asked her where her shoes were, Coco said they were too tight and that she had to take them off,” a source says. “Both Jen and Courteney were smiling at her. Jen and Coco seem to have a very special bond and it was cute to watch Jen dote on Coco.”
