Jennifer Aniston comes out to support BFF Courteney Cox at the Glamour Reel Moments screening at the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles on Tuesday. The event showcased short films written and directed by women, including Cox.

Aniston, 39, and John Mayer, 30, reunited last weekend and again shared a romantic dinner at Sunset Tower’s Tower Bar in West Hollywood on Tuesday.

An insider tells Us Weekly: “They looked like they had the best time. They were holding hands at one point and seemed very much back on. She seemed extremely happy to be back with him. They were close and laughing the whole time with their friends.” More Here! »

Demi Moore directed a short film entitled “Streak,” while Courteney Cox directed “The Monday Before Thanksgiving,” for Glamour Reel Moments.

The films are part of a series of short films that are based on real women’s stories and written by real women, the readers of Glamour magazine, and benefit Film Aid International.

Courteney Cox covers the November 2008 issue of Marie Claire. Here’s what she had to say about plastic surgery, botox and her marriage:

On her husband and how he is opposed to plastic surgery: “It’s really important to him. He loves the aging process. He thinks it’s beautiful… I’m under pressure to not do anything

On her actor husband David Arquette: “It’s weird, because I’m so in love with David right now. I’m starting to really appreciate how ‘there’ he is for me. But in any relationship, there are times that you’re disconnected. You can see how relationships end if you don’t work through it.”

On getting Botox: “Botox? I think it’s fantastic and also horrible. I mean, they’ve come up with this stuff that can make you not look angry. But you have to use it sparingly. I went to this doctor once, and he was like, ‘Oh, let me do it just here and here and here.’ And I was miserable. I mean, I’m an actor, I’ve got to be able to move my face. When people start messing with their foreheads and can’t life their eyebrows, that’s weird. It’s not that I haven’t tried Botox - but I hated it.”

Courteney Cox has reportedly agreed to guest star on Scrubs for a three-episode arc.

The former Friends star will play the new chief of medicine at Sacred Heart, reports EW. Cox’s character on the NBC sitcom will supposedly, “ruffle feathers.”

This follows an announcement that Courteney’s own show Dirt had been recently been canceled by FX. The series was executive produced by the 44-year-old actress and her hubby, David Arquette.

The second season came to a halt due to the Writers Guild of America strike, and its ratings did not improve much from the first season.

Jennifer Aniston and new love John Mayer enjoy a double date with Courteney Cox and David Arquette at L.A.’s STK restaurant Thursday night.

After the STK dinner and event, hosted by Omnipeace founder Mary Fanaro (pictured below) and sponsored by Kitson, the foursome headed next door to Coco de Ville, for the 2nd Annual OmniPeace Event.

The event honored Dr. Jeffrey Sachs, co-founder of the anti-poverty organization Millennium Promise, which aims to eradicate extreme poverty in Africa by 2025. Kate Bosworth was also in attendance.

Courteney Cox Arquette just revealed that her FX series, Dirt, will not be renewed for a third season. It got the axe!

“It just got canceled,” Cox told TV Guide yesterday at a charity event in Los Angeles. (Season 2 was cut short by the WGA strike.)

But this won’t put a damper on her and husband David’s producing dreams.

“We’re developing all kinds of stuff right now,” she said. “We’ll be producing more stuff together, for sure.”
